Cool colour = I must be on the comp! YAY!!

Susie You are correct my dear, I went on my lonesome to see it as I did New Moon. I feel guilty asking someone else to look after buddy so I can go out but as it's only a couple of times in a year i figured I'm not 'extracting the urine' too much. Would've been nice to have someone to go with, but it's not essential/ I'm big enough and ugly enough to drive myself there and back and to sit in the dark munching non stop  The drive there and back wasn't up to Trines distance, but the cinema complex is over half an hour away so I made myself up a Twilight / New Moon soundtrack mix, and being in the car on my own (no buddy) meant it could be turned up loud!!!! :D

Vicky and Susie, thank you for your posts about my RM experience. I always feel as though others can articulate themselves in a far superior way to myself, and I'm guessing others feel that way too about themselves. I read other peoples posts and they seemed to be able to say so much more than I could. Bits of the film keep coming back to me now and I'm glad, cos I really didn't like the fact that all I could really remember was the emotionally draining ending. I'll have to have a look at your photo in a minute Vicky, i saw the post when I was using the phone, so couldn't be bothered to wait for it to load it up ( would take ages and I'd only get stroppy waiting) so I thought I'd look when I was online properly. [edit]: WOW!!! that was nice and close, maybe one day i'll be able to get within 5 miles of him (knowingly  )

Vampirelover It's rubbish when things and people get in the way of relationships, and I know this advice is easy for me to say as I'm not in your position but try not to let her worry you, deal with it IF you need to. If you worry about it and start to fret, it will cause problems. If you feel the need to have a rant or get it off your chest feel free to pm me and I'll listen.

So what has everyone else been up to???

Oh yeah Susie it did rain here, in fact it completely pee'd down and guess which numpty left the cushioned seat outside overnight  I thought you might be able to guess :D

I totally forgot to add this when I posted
and this
erm
a-hem
or this, now I need to lie down in a quiet room

Happy Sunday, Everyone!

Today in church we had a special Earth Day service with LOTS of music for the choir. (I go to one of those, "Hippie" churches!) I had to get up early because we sang both services - now I'm exhausted! I've been fighting a cold, so I actually think I'm going to take a nap - which I rarely do! I'll try to dream of you know who......... But before I doze off, I want to comment on the posts of the day (thus far).

Marielle - Hormones! They can really cause some trouble, I know! I'm glad you'll be able to spend the first part of your day on May 13th at our eParty. I know we're talking a lot about drinking, but I don't actually drink that much because I just can't handle it - I either get dizzy or acid reflux or I just fall asleep!!! I like to have one or two, though! The pic of Rob that you posted last - (GAH, what a way to start your Sunday) was so incredibly beautiful! I've never seen that one before.

Shauni - Drinking Game - Just what is the drinking age in Belgium?? You said you can go in bars at 16, right? I just want to officially go on record that I do not condone underage drinking! In the U.S., you'd be out of luck! Of course, what you choose to do is your own business. ;) That being said, you will probably be able to get the Oprah interview online soon after it appears.

Ann Marie - Too bad about that girl who is giving you trouble. My advice (I know you didn't ask for it!) is to try to heal the friendship, even though she may be the one in the wrong. It sounds way too volatile. Sometimes, for the sake of peace and harmony, we have to swallow our pride. Sometimes we have to be the ones to do it because otherwise it won't happen. Of course, I don't know the details or the people involved, so I'm not commenting on particulars - just the basics. It would be better not to have this girl as your enemy. She doesn't sound good as a friend, either. If you could find some neutral level, that would be good. I hope you don't think I am too presumptuous in all this!

Mel - Thanks for the well wishes for our Sunday! I'm glad you are enjoying Rob as Tyler fantasies - I was having trouble remembering those scenes! You are right - he was absolutely gorgeous in many of those scenes - I was mesmerized! And no sign of Edward!! I've been spending so much time on my post that you've just posted again! You sound like you are very level headed about your life. Do you live in the London area? I've been to the UK a lot because my husband's family is from there. I can give you more details later. Regarding your RM review - I really was impressed with your writing - I would have given you an A+. Did you do it in Word first and then copy and paste?

Vicky - Can't wait for more pics from the Remember Me Premiere! An Alto? Alto I or II? At least I don't have to act like a typical Soprano Diva now, which I would of course, if you were a Soprano! We really need a SOPII now. Can anyone sing Soprano II???? Caryn - Are you Alto I or Alto II? We have to get organized if we are going to have an e performance!!

Caryn - You'd be happy to know that I started watching the Twilight Commentary last night - I got as far as the restaurant scene then Hubs came home... The commentary is a riot with the three of them chatting away. Of course I love hearing Rob's darling English accent- he sounds like such a fun guy. How about when he said - "that's my favorite line (in the hospital after Bella was treated for the Tyler's van accident). But of course, he can't remember it, but WE KNOW. It is: "I hope you like disappointment", right? So far in my viewing, he has uttered Kristen's name once, "Kristen, what were you thinking about there?" When he said her name - I thought - awwwwwwwww. I just love to hear him say her name. Does she say his name???

Now, to my Nap.

I could pretend I am in the UK, Holland, Belgium, or Norway, and that it is really bed time right now!

Marielle - Start winding down for bed now - you have to get up early tomorrow for work!
(The first 30 minutes of which are dedicated to the Lexicon, of course!)

Nah, I haven't got office on my pc yet, so I just go with the flow and if it all goes wrong then i swear a bit then start again  An A+??? I never got grades anywhere near that at school! I'm a happy bunny with that :o :D
I wouldn't say level headed, just a realist. I know a pessimist is always expecting let downs, and an optimist hopes for good things, I however hope for good things but know it aint gonna happen for me
I dont live anywhere near London, although part of my family comes from there. I live in southern England, although I have spent time In Barnes, and it has gone through my mind to be a bit stalkerish and have a nosey at Mr Pattinsons area. Of course I haven't done it as I would be arrested and that's not good for buddy :? or my record

I quite obviously like the word although tonight I think

Susie ~ Haha don't worry. I'm responsible enough to make my own choices. You can drink beer from the day you turn 16 and then strong alcohol drinks like wodka when you're 18. But I very very rarely drink alcohol and I've never been drunk which is strange here in Belgium when you're almost 18.

.
Hello everyone,
I have now officially stopped babysitting for the weekend - took my neice home a couple hours ago. I'm pretty knackered now so I think I will head off to bed soon...it's normally an early night for me if I make it for 12am! Need to get up pretty early for work tomorrow too as I have a lot of stuff to be done this week. I am jealous of all you folk who manage to get on The Lex at work - I would love to do that, but I would be too scared in case I got caught! Maybe one day :D

Susie - I love the Twilight commentary - it is just so so funny!! I love how Rob & Kristen are on it, and I love how they have great banter...even CH has some great stuff too! Now I'm remembering all the awesome bits but I don't want to say just in case you haven't managed to watch any more yet! All this talk makes me really want to watch Twilight again!

Shauni - I used to think it was a bit strange that some countries had different ages for different alcoholic drinks (no offense meant of course!). What age are you allowed to drink wine at (since the alcohol content is normally somewhere between beer & spirits?). In the UK it is 18 to drink any alcoholic drink, tho like you said about Belgium, most people have gotten drunk way before that.

The e-sing-along - I wish I could sing!! Can I sing too, but I will be the one that everyone throws things at and tells them to shut up! I do love singing, but I am very bad at it! Haha! I am always humming or singing along to whatever song is stuck in my head and my bf always tells me to shush!

Rob's birthday bash - I do hope I can make it online to this! It sounds like so much fun! I am very much looking forward to celebrating this man's birthday!

Haha, I was looking at some pics tonight - has anyone seen this before?. It's one of those morph things, where it shows you what 2 people's kids look like....a wee bit scary! Haha!

This picture is hysterical!. I wonder what they were talking about?

I love how she is just holding onto him here...

I love this photoshoot so much!!

Well I am off to bed. Catch you all later!

Jaclyn ~ anything above 15% alcohol you're only allowed to drink when you're 18. Anything lower than that you can drink at 16. So I dunno the % alcohol for wine:D

edit: wine is around 11,12,13 % most of the time so yeah I'd say 16 for most wines:)

Evening, sisters. I've been feeling a might poorly most of yesterday and today, so I've been a bit quiet. Thankfully, I had Rob to keep my company yesterday...Rob and a little fanfic. Tropic of Virgo got me through the evening. Mmmmmm, RockGodWard just curls my toes.

Susie~ I did see Vicky's announcement, and I am totes  . But, seeing as she is actually the third person I know who's actually met The Hottness, I've had time to adjust my acceptance of women who have stood in his presence. Quite honestly, I would be terrified I'd make a fool of me. When mere pictures of the man have the power to stun me senseless, I can't imagine what seeing him in person would do to me.

I'm glad you are finally listening to the commentary. It is hysterical. There were moments the first few times I watched it that the hubs had to actually stop it becasue I was laughing so hard I couldn't keep watching. "Now guys..." "Cheeseburgers!!"  "Like some superhuman moron...my customized peacoat and my little bouffant hairdo.."   Ach, Rob is so adorkable. Granted, I do have to work to tune out CH. She just grates on my nerves from the word go. But, Rob always makes it better.

I'm a first alto with definite show choir/musical theater leanings. I'm not so much a fan of madrigal or classical choir. I like to be able to get into my music.

Well, I've some boys to wrangle into the shower and such. I'll be back in a bit.

Hi everyone! Hope you've had good weekends.

I saw this video over on Robsessed: it's a link to a youtube clip of the 2 Eclipse trailers mashed together to make one long trailer. It includes all the fighting stuff and the lovey dovey stuff, interspersed pretty nicely.
And more Robward is always a good thing 8-)

Sandy, I'm not a huge Oprah fan either, but I'll be sending positive thoughts and wishes your way that you get tickets to that show! We know you'll represent! Hope the softball games went well this weekend.

Susie, I love that you were able to "recklessly Lex" while hubs was out of town. :D I think it's cool that all four of you sing; you're just the regular Von Trapp Family Singers. I sang in college choir and still sing in church choir, but my hubs (and he would completely agree) is one of those folks who are better to be seen and not heard, as far as singing goes.

newjen, thanks for the link to the RPattz drinking game. I hadn't seen that video in forever and it cracks me up every time. I love that it shows so much older pre-Twilight and Harry Potter footage...when Rob's hair was sort of its own entity. :D His adorkable facial expressions are just priceless.

Trine and Mel, I'm glad that you were both finally able to see Remember Me, and I enjoyed your posts over on the RM thread. Trine, your boyfriend scored some major Halfway House points by going with you, and especially for enjoying the movie. :o
Mel, I saw Twilight and NM by myself too. Sometimes it's nice to see movies alone; I think you pay more attention to exactly what's being shown onscreen that the reactions of those with whom you're watching the movie. As far as Rob's E-Birthday Bash....you can drink anything your heart desires, or nothing at all. I think it's safe to say that anything goes with this crowd. :)

Caryn, I loved the ProtectiveRob collage. I'm going to remain in my dreamworld and assume those pictures show us just how well Rob would watch out for his KSTew. ;)

jaclyn, glad you made it through your babysitting weekend in one piece. You deserve multiple viewings of Twilight and New Moon as compensation, as soon as you've taken a nice nap of course. That Vanity Fair photoshoot will always be one of my favorites. I think the chemistry between Rob and Kristen was hot, especially in the VF photoshoot outtakes video we've seen in the past.

Marielle, glad you found a bed and hope you had a great weekend!

I completed my half-marathon Saturday and have been fairly sore and exhausted today, but at least I can still walk. ;) It was actually pretty fun at times because there are all kinds of get-togethers and parties in the neighborhoods, as well as downtown Nashville. Spectators gather to cheer everybody on and hold up crazy signs and try to offer you beer and stuff. When I was about 1 mile from the finish line, I saw this older teenage girl with a sign that said "Run Like a Cullen!", and it had a picture of Robward. I waved to her as I passed and we laughed, and I found the energy to finish. Little does Rob know the power he possesses. 8-)

Well, I'm sure you've all been waiting to hear how my nap went....NOT!

Like you, Caryn - I don't feel that great right now - I slept for 2 hours and only got up to get some food on the table! My cold is settling in my chest...

Anyway - You all make me feel better!!

I listened to the Twilight CD when I drove to the grocery store today and you know, Track 11- Flightless Bird - always makes me want to cry - it is so beautiful, and of course I can just visualize that Prom scene. *sigh* I had to pull myself together with "Super Massive Black Hole" while I was putting gas in my car - I actually danced a bit around my car - luckily Holiday wasn't very busy at the moment!

Mel - I'm sorry I was being a typical Yank assuming you lived in London, which is of course the only place in England! I've not been to Southern England much. So you are a realistic optimist! Good compromise.
izzysmum wrote:I quite obviously like the word although tonight I think  [/color]
What do you mean by this? I'm sorry, but I'm a bit dense...

Shauni - Of course I know you would make responsible choices - you're a smart girl! I actually don't like the 21 drinking age here because so many "kids" find drinking even more attractive because it is illegal. If you can be in the army, get married, vote, etc. you should be able to drink alcohol too, in my opinion.

Jaclyn - I'm sure you are a favorite auntie for your niece! Much appreciated by your sister/brother, I'm sure! That morphed pic of Robsten was a bit disturbing!! When I finish the Twilight commentary, I'll let you know so we can share the best moments! That's the great thing about an eSing-a-long! No body is actually going to hear you, so if you LOVE singing, you can participate!

We need to write some alternate lyrics to some song in honor of Rob. Who is good at this sort of thing? I'm not. I'm sure one of you must be clever enough to do it!! First we have to pick a song that would potentially work well with alternate lyrics. This can be a group effort here. We should have it ready in time for the eBirthday Bash.

Caryn - I would have loved to be in a show choir in high school, but alas, we didn't have one - they were definitely rare back then. Our elite, auditioned choir was a Madrigal choir - we had a lot of fun together, but the main choir was jealous of us because the director sometimes took time away from that choir to rehearse with us. I love musical theatre and show tunes too. I was Dainty June in "Gypsy" in 10th grade and then I didn't even get into "The Boyfriend" the next year for some unknown, but "character building" reason (no pun intended). But senior year I was Meg in "Brigadoon".

It was strange playing the alto role - I was SO jealous of the girl who got the part of Fionna!!! She was new to our school mid-year and had already played the lead at her old school in the Fall. So unfair! Anyway -Meg was fun, the town hussy - I got to practically make-out with a really cute guy on stage. Do you know the song, "My mother's Weddin' Day"? It is hilarious - a bit low for me, though. The thing about a high soprano voice is that the repertoire seems to favor classical whereas you altos can belt out all the show tunes! I'm more of a Sarah Brightman, so I could do Phantom.

All of this talk makes me long for the stage!!! Too bad I'm way past playing the ingenue! I'd have to play Aunt Eller now. Oh - Also, I played Marian the Librarian in "The Music Man" when our church was in their community theatre phase about 15 years ago. That was a great role for me! I can still do a mean "Good Night My Someone"! I got to kiss two different men in that show - the anvil salesman and of course Harold Hill, who was maybe 10 years younger than I. (My cougar days started early!) Have you been in any musicals?

Tracy - You are a singer too!! Please join us for our eSing-a-long! What part do you sing? Congrats on finishing your race! It is so cool that Rob played a role in helping you finish!! You went to Twilight and New Moon alone, does that mean you'll be going to Eclipse alone too? Do you have any friends who are the least bit interested? Or are you completely in the closet??? I know you said you like to see movies alone, but it made me think about the isolation factor that some of us face when we don't have any friends in RL who share our love of the Saga. I have friends who will go with me, but they just don't enjoy it as much as I do - it isn't SPECIAL to them at all.

One would think that a sickly person like me should be in bed by now.

See you tomorrow, my sweetie pies!
