She's too pretty to be Bella... what will they do when she's vampire Bella? If she's plain (as described), how do we all compare?

I'm just kidding. You can't put an ugly actress in the lead! I've only seen her in Jumper, but I'm sure she'll be great.

She is and it almost doesn't look like Kristen Stewart. Not that she isn't pretty normally, she just has a different look.

This wasn't directed at anyone in particular. It's regarding the comments on Kristen being "too pretty" to play Bella. It's just that this is the primary complaint that I've been hearing. Although, I guess that should be compliment to Kristen, haha.

Something some of us have to realize is that Bella is the reason that we see her as plain. The books are from her perspective and we all know that she is extremely self-conscious. Edward says it himself that she doesn't see herself clearly. The entire book is Bella comparing herself to these inhumanly gorgeous creatures, so of course we're going to think she's plain looking. For all we know she's drop dead gorgeous and just is self-conscious.

That's just my opinion, though.

Yeah, Bella really didn't see herself too clearly. That was a correct statement by Edward, plus I think they make Kristen look plainer then she normally is.. so that when they put her in makeup for like the Prom and future scenes, she really does look beautiful.

I think kristen is the perfect bella. she's simple looking but pretty and i like her acting cuz she has a little charm in her voice. anyway, we can only wait and see.........on November 21!!!!!!! its like the reverse of my bday cuz mine is November 12!!!!!!!! Im sure kristen will hav no problem in expressing the visual of bella.

i dont think shell hav that much makeup on in the movie cuz the EW cover was supposed to be exsagerated and they put on loads of makeup u know for ad and stuff.

I picture her as Bella now.... But I always pictured Bella to be more.. I'm not sure pretty, but in a "I haven't had my make over yet"

Kristen is as pretty as she is going to get (Even though I don't think she's that pretty) and I'm not sure.. She's jsut not my first choice.
