Evening everyone!

BD news - Taylor is going to Rio with Rob & Kristen?? I hope this is just a rumor. Or I hope he is just going for the sake of it (maybe he has never seen Rio?? LOL). He just can't be on Isle Esme...

DESIREE! Hi girl :D Whew that's loads of working you are doing now. Are you still enjoying it? That's great you are enrolling in night classes. Which ones?
Nope I didn't read what Anne Rice said... you have to tell us now!

Caryn - LOVED the "holy mother of thud" picture you posted!! What shoot is that from?
Ok reading your next post... OH MY GOODNESS!! Those pics are just... wow, you know... freaking... *gulp*
This is my favourite. He makes smoking look so.. good and his hands... his arms... the way he's sitting... THE JAW! *explodes*
Right now that I have recovered (slightly lol) I have a silly question for ya! :P What's an assist in soccer? I alway thought that soccer was kind of like football here... but I don't think there is an assist in that. Or maybe there is because I don't know an awful much about sport at all  But all that sounds like he and his team did great!! The glow-in-the-dark skulls sound awesome!
Enjoy your PJ day tomorrow!!

Marielle - I love that pic of Kristen you posted - she does indeed look in "Bella-mode" now :D
Hahahahaha, you cracked me up with your post!! Both your 999 call and that your trying to make your bf mess up his hair. (I tried that years ago with my bf, before I even knew who Rob was... it didn't work LOL). You're really funny ;)

Chrissy - You day yesterday sounds marvellous! Sound a nice way to enjoy a Sunday... You deserve a break from all the studying anyways!
Ok I'm intrigued...who's Rain?

JennJenn - That was indeed a very sweet thing of your neice to your daughter!

Susie - Thanks for telling us a little more about your time in Florida. Sounds great!! Hopefully you will be able to catch up on your sleep tonight and feel much more refreshed tomorrow!
I totally get what you mean about your students test now - we call that multiple choice. I don't know why I didn't realise that's what you meant
Thanks for letting us know you are not planning any more HH trips in November - but I wonder about December?? Haha!!
Btw, your mega post was awesome :D

Ginnie - I am now on here too and see you're still here so I am waving to ya! :D

Well I'm off to read a bit before bed. I am positively SMILING so much since logging onto here... Partly due to the fantastic pics that Caryn linked to, and partly just cos you ladies make me :D You all = awesome!

Bye!

hihi Jaclyn....an assist in soccer is when a player passes a teammate the ball after which the teammate scores a goal...
(my bf tells me I'm right)

oh yeah, I was going to bed...
GOOD NIGHT!!!!

LOL, ah yeah that makes complete sense - we do have that in football here! I didn't know it was called that though

Caryn....Oh dear Lord! :o It's been quite awhile since you've posted pictures that boasted the power of the Avada Kedavra curse. My kids were trying to quietly finish their homework, but kept staring at me while I involuntarily gasped out loud at each gorgeous picture. :D

I think these two are my favorites:
What would you do if you found this sitting at your desk? Sweep everything off the desk as quickly as possible in very dramatic fashion? 8-)

There are no words....except....I'M PREGGERS!

Great to see everyone! I'll check back later tonight for a mega post as my daughter wants to use the computer for a bit, and I've got to start dinner before my son's basketball practice. We're on to new sports for the fall/winter season....from fall baseball and girls' soccer, to basketball. ;)

Have a nice afternooon/evening, and early morning (Raine :D )

I forgot to mention in my last post (sorries) that I could use a bit of you guys help, if you don't mind me picking your brain =) . In a couple of weeks, my entire Psychology class is broken down into groups and we are giving an "ethics presentation". My groups topic is "Should the legal US drinking age be lowered to 18?" I won't share the choice of direction that my group and I have chosen to go in just yet. I would like to know what you all's thoughts and opinions are. I know most of you are parents and/or deal with kids/teens on a daily basis. I don't want anyone to misunderstand, I am in no way asking for help. My group and I have already chosen an answer and have begun putting our presentation together. This is me, and me alone just asking fellow US citizens (those of you not in the US feel free to give input too! Just make sure you let me know where you're from.) how they feel about this debate. Also, my group and I thought it would be nice (and a good way to score extra points ;) ) to find some way to interact with our audience (classmates). I was thinking of just going around the room and getting each persons opinion, and then giving them an example of some sort to almost challenge their reason. Does this make sense? Not like an "in your face" challenge, just something to make someone think again. So, please give me anything you've got! I don't mind rants either! Rants are the best.

Desiree: Hello, nice to e-meet you! As you've seen, I'm Chrissy. I'm 19 and I live in the US.

JennJenn: Yes, I'm Chrissy. We have 3 Chris's on the board now and a couple people got a lil confused  . I'm 19, a college student (freshman), and I love in the US. Nice to e-meet you! =)

Susie: Yes, I'm ok. I'm on the computer/internet a lot and since I'm always logged in on the Lex, whenever I connect to the internet it just always says I'm online here although I'm not necessarily HERE. Does that make sense? Lol. I'm a Web Programming (computers) major so most of my work and practice work (things like that) is on the computer. You have TWO brothers?! How do you do it? I can barely deal with ONE! Some days he's so much of a handfull I just give up. Hopefully this Public Speaking class will make me more comfortable speaking in front of a large amount of people. Today is November 1st so I have officially started my "diet". I can't recall if I've talked about it on this particular thread. I know I've talked about it though. I'm not very comfortable with my weight and all so that's a major contributing factor to why I get so nervous. But I don't even have to stand and be nervous. I could answer a question sitting down facing front and still feel my face run hot before I start talking  . Thanks! I think I like my nails this week. Last week I think, I tried to do a "NIghtmare Before Christmas" themed nail design and completely botched it. This week I kept it simple and tried to get the color that matches my ring. You can see a bit of the ring in the photos. Those of Rob were capital H-O-T! :D

Hi Ginnie! Nice to see you here today. Glad you had fun over the weekend with the HH Sister! ;)

Marielle: I saw your coats too. Very pretty! I like both, but, I think the black one is better. I'd love to have a coat like that but I'd probably freeze to death in it here.

Jaclyn: The studying never ends.......I have 2 chapters to read in my Data Processing book, which is both 40-50 pages each. I have 3 chapter to read in my Biology book which is 20-40 pages each. All before I go to bed tonight AND I have a quiz in Biology Tuesday and an exam Thursday! :| But, your question just made me feel better and smile all the way up from my toes! Who is RAIN? So glad you've asked! THIS is RAIN . He's a singer/dancer/actor and he's 10 tons of South Korean deliciousness :D . He was in a movie called Ninja Assassin. If you watched the MTV Movie Awards this year, he's the one who won the Bad BUTT(can't say the A word) Award. Rainism and Hip Song are 2 of my favorite songs that he sings.
(There's an english version of that song Rainsim too.)

EDIT: I mentioned to Susie earlier that I was going on a diet soon and my start date is November 1st. Surprise! It's November 1st. To be honest, I had completely forgotten about it this morning. I didn't remember until after I went to McDonalds  . Better late than never though. So, to go along with my food/calorie cut backs, I've been looking up exercise videos on YouTube so I can work out at home since I don't have a gym membership or anything. So my questions are: does anyone here do Yoga? I saw some Yoga exercises for beginners and I thought the stretching would be cool to do. But is there any weight loss that goes along with Yoga? because honestly all I'm seeing are some extremely hard poses to hold and deep breathing. Would it be good to do the Yoga first and then get into some heavy exercising? Does anyone have any dieting tips? To start I just said I would do cut backs. Not eating after a certain time and cutting sodas and sugary juices. And most sad of all........no chocolate. Complete torture!

Susie-Sounds like a wonderful time :) Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight!

Marielle-Good choice on Crack Pics!

Chrissy-I honestly feel the lowering the age to 18 would be all kinds of wrong. We have enough problems now with kids being able to get guns, cigarettes, and porn at that age. Adding into the fact that they would be able to drink? Just horrible! If I had been able to drink at the age of 18, I think I would have made a lot of bad decisions related to drinking. I think 21 is decent.
