I absolutely love getting new music/introducing people to new bands, so I definitely have to contribute to this thread by recommending the following:
Sufjan Stevens (specifically Illinois)
Yeah Yeah Yeahs (all their cds)
Amy Winehouse (not just back to black...Frank is amazing as well!)
Bjork (Vespertine is so high up there on favorite cds ever)
Santogold
Bright Eyes
Eisley

Thats all I can think of right now. :D

I would recomment LIGHTS

they're so awesome.

They only have about 5 songs,
but theyre still awesome.

Their songs remind me of this series a little.

The new Slipknot album is great. Every time I hear "Gehenna" I think of the Edward. The song could almost be his theme song! Seriously...listen to the lyrics. I also think of the books when I hear "Snuff" and "Til We Die".

Ok, So, if you read this post that I made a little earlier, nevermind. The contest I was talking about hasn't started yet. But I'll post it again when it actually does and maybe some of you can help me.

But anyways, While I'm here, you guys should definitely check out the band Locksley if you haven't heard of them. I think they're absolutely AMAZING!!!

Adele - 'Chasing Pavements'.
Hard Fi - 'Cash Machine'
John Mayer - 'Gravity'

Ana; I love like all those bands!
Death Cab For Cuite is awesome! I love their song "What Sarah Said"
Snow Patrol so cool! "Make This Go On Forever" stole my heart!
The Spill Canvas... just pure gold.

I'm like into screamo stuff so some of the artist do scream a bit but I still love it.

SILVERSTEIN!!
a bit screamo but awesome!

One of their songs.

METRO STATION!
They're not screamo whatsoever. They just rock and Mason Musso is so hott.

And HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS
They are a bit screamo though not really anymore.
RIP Casey!
