Re: Dr. Who
Since I'm apparently the only one who pays attention to this thread any more... (Gotta drag Hannah over here, then)
A. BBC has announced when season 6 will begin! APRIL 23d, YOU GUYS. HOW EXCITED ARE YOU?
And B. James Corden, otherwise known as Craig Owen's from the Lodger, will be reprising his role in this season. And the the Doctor gets a new jacket and Craig apparently has a baby which makes me even more excited. And Matt Smith, our French Duke of Hipsters, bought a new scarf. Tis a miracle.

Not True. I am just so happy that we get it here with BBC America so quickly now. I had not know the date is April 23rd. Thanks for letting me know.dandyvampgirl_13 wrote:Since I'm apparently the only one who pays attention to this thread any more...

Okay, so, while trying to express this without screaming. TIME and SPACE WAS PROBABLY ONE OF THE GREATEST BITS OF DOCTOR WHO I'VE EVER SEEN EVER.

Re: Dr. Who
It's taken me a while to warm up to Matt Smith as well. Now I can see hints of Patrick Troughton's Doctor in his portrayal. I've always had a soft spot for Doctor No. 2, so I've really enjoyed some of that brought back in Matt's performance.

Re: Dr. Who
I've loved how both Matt Smith and David Tennant have really managed to make the character of the doctor their own (have to admit, though, I've got a soft spot for Tom Baker as well. I think that has something to do with the fact he was my first doctor).
I'm interested to see not only who they choose for 12, but also what they do with the part...

I think we all have a soft spot for our first Doctor (Tom Baker is mine, as well). It will be interesting who they hire to replace Matt.

I take it I'm not the only one super excited for the 50th anniversary special tomorrow, am I?
