Yep, I'm a newbie

Postby BellaMia » Sat Apr 16, 2011 5:25 pm

How did I pick my screen name?
It's actually a nickname.

How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
I was quite late to the Twilight phenomenon. The first two movies were already out on DVD. It was about 6 weeks before Eclipse was coming out on DVD. Never saw any of the movies in the theater. I picked up Twilight at a tag sale for .50 and I wanted to read all the books before I watched the movies. I purchased the DVDs as they came out but never watched them. Didn't know what all the hype was about. I read all 4 books in 3 days and was hooked. Then I watched all the movies. Twilight is my favorite. It's the foundation for everything and it's where you first introduce Edward and Bella into your life.

Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?
Edward. What can I say...I'm attracted to shiny objects.

Who is your favorite minor character?
Probably Seth. I see him as Bella and Edward do. A younger, carefree Jacob and having the kindest, purest mind. Being caring and accepting. Kind of happy go lucky.

What are your hobbies?
Reading. Shopping. I love tag sales and flea markets. I can't resist a good bargain. I've been told I'm a professional class shopper because I can find almost anything for anyone at a better price than they could.

Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!)
Native New Yorker. Not the city. Life exists outside of Manhattan.

How old are you? (In general, like teen, 20's, 30's, 40's etc)
I stopped aging at 28. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

Anything else you would like to share.
Huge Robert Pattinson fan. Seen everything he's done professionally. Like Edward. Love Rob. Collect foreign editions of Twilight series. Can't read them but I know they're there.

Hello and welcome to the Twilight Lexicon!

I’m Openhome, and I’m one of the moderators around here.

We are so pleased you have chosen to join us! The Lex is a large site and can be very confusing at first. To help you navigate through the threads better, please be sure to check out the Welcome Forum and take a look at the threads there. You can begin at the Before You Start Posting thread. This topic contains a wealth of information on how to use our boards.

If you have any questions about posting here, there are three forums set up for you. Newborn in Seattle has a long list of helpful hints and FAQ’s. If you have technical difficulties, go to For the Accident Prone. The site’s rules and policies are found in the Don’t Irritate the Volturi thread. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with them!

If you have any other questions, you can contact any of the moderators by sending them a Private Message (PM). Moderators’ names appear in green. You can also go to the Communing with the Pack forum to ask questions or give us feedback.

See you around the boards!
