Hi all! I will always come home, no matter how long it takes. Here are a few saved gifties (Austin and Sean may look away):

That's PG-13, right? He's dressed ... more than Kris was in LA, anyway.

And some links tobig pics too.

I posted my marathon nails on FB but never uploaded the pic to my Photobucket, grr. Pretty simple anyway, one purple flower on each nail.

Empathize with everyone about the end of The-Book-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named (which we name all the time anyway). Tried writing fanfic on it and only finished out the chapter before giving up. Amused myself, at least.

Because someone has been asking here about fanfic: I'm currently reading the following Works-In-Progress: Openhome's Rogue, philadelphic's La Canzone della Bella Cigna, m81170's An Introduction to Swirl and Daisy, giselle-lx's Stregoni Benefici, and Savage7289's Caged. And these are just some of my fave completed works: michellephants's The Vampire in the Basement, KiyaRaven's Grasping Darkness, Openhome's Coalescence, KristenLynn's Last Friday Night, Kharazzmatic's Emancipation Proclamation, hunterhunting's Clipped Wings and Inked Armor, and of course Wide Awake. I'm working on putting Phoebe Ann Lassiter's Twilight: The Missing Pages into pdf format for e-books, but I've been working on that for a few months, in my "free time."

I had a very nice Thanksgiving with family. Kids and I spent nearly 8 hours at mom's house with their little cousins from Phoenix, and we had tons of food all on time and still warm - don't understand how that miracle happened! And no children went to the ER, always a plus. We have a family jinx around that, one year a forehead gash, another year a scorpion, always the excitement. I don't do Black Friday generally, too scary and aggressive. I did a little Thursday evening shopping at my favorite craft store with a great coupon and that was nice, not too crowded, plenty of time to wander and pick. Got some holiday crafts for the kids.

Some of you may remember that hubby boy and I have struggled at times with our relationship the past year or so. I finally put my foot down Wednesday and said, I am going to start seeing this counselor whom I have picked hoping you would feel comfortable enough to join me, but if not then I am going anyway. And so he is coming with me on Monday ... and if this counselor doesn't feel right, we will keep going until we find one who is. Wish us luck! I love him and want to stay married, and I think he feels the same way; we just want to be happier together. More together. I may occasionally talk about it here, if that's ok, as I really don't feel I can talk about it elsewhere.

I skimmed more than 30 pages tonight in about 4 hours and really really tried to limit my megaposting, which I always totally fail at because I gab, gab, gab.

Austin - You are an awesome hubs, and so wonderful of you to take Edward for your role model. Jacob was right - taking the high road is more effective with the chicks. Mostly. Lulu's hubs was with us for the all day marathon, and while Lulu might have felt a bit inhibited (not totally), the rest of us surely made up for it. So loved seeing you write "OMG this is the BEST EVER!!!!" Sometime, Valley speak is the only way to go. So when you finally saw it, your choking up over Leah's supposed death had nothing to do with any attachment to Leah?

Beth - I'm impressed. I've been sentimental since the first time I heard A Thousand Years and it hasn't let up at all. I can't imagine being in control of that emotion.

Desiree - Whoops, that wasn't me saying Jacob wouldn't live forever. Canon Jacob will never age as long as he keeps changing between wolf and man. He can live as long as he wants to. And venom is fatal to the wolves, so changing is not in the cards for him.

Lynne - Save an autographed copy for me! One of my nieces teaches middle school and is cool with the kids, a big reader, and into fantasy to boot. I plan on giving her a copy and if she likes it, she's likely to tell her kids, the school librarian ... etc. Fingers crossed!

Marielle - Sparkly oblong objects :D Did you ever see Kayla's image for "Edward's Rolling Pin"? Or the popsicles! ROTFLMAO! Kayla knows, I think, that it is only the lack of R-rated Rob pix that keeps us from posting them!

Rose - Hi! Welcome to the HH! Thank you for sharing yourself with us. So cute that you named your dog Seth, and sweet that you are saving to adopt. I'm Brenda, married with 4 kids in Arizona, working FT now (!) as a psychologist locally. I have loved Twilight since seeing the first movie a little over 2 years ago, and met some absolutely wonderful friends here.

Sarah - Glad that you read Midnight Sun (I read it about 14 times); but please resist the urge to beg Steph. She has publicly asked for people to drop it and the media keeps hounding her, which I think make it only less likely that she will ever finish/publish MS. If you are the praying kind, try praying for the rest of the book. Much more likely to work. Oh, and fairly sure you have me mixed up with someone else ... easy to do around here, especially at first. I have the funny heart avie and sexy siggy (oh those shoulders). I used to type my posts with the list translating screen names to RL names right in front of me, until I memorized most everyone.

Sean - Again, Sean, I'm very sorry for your loss. Treat yourself - use some of your Social Security windfall to go see BD2. Kris on the big screen .... try seeing it during a weekday matinee, its cheaper and fewer people will be there.

Songbird - Sometimes little uns will be toilet trained but struggle later as their bodies grow. I highly recommend waterproof mattress covers - even if you have to mail order them from WalMart. It does feel like Steph is harming all of us (and her mom and sister and even herself) because of one bad apple (or a few) ... but I do understand how she feels. Art is a delicate process and does not handle interruption well. Much like cheesecake!

Big hellos to the many, many sisters I did not mention, including the ones rarely here. I love you all ... but I did try to minimize the megaposting. Hopefully I will be around more frequently and post more often again.

Sean don't worry about what people think. You wanting to reduce some of the stress does not make you a bad person. It's an emotional time for everyone so just get through it and know your in our thoughts and prayers.

Brenda, did I not send you the other Lassiter books in .pdf format? That's what I've been reading. The BD version and about halfway through. I only have one small issue with the font being little bigger than I normally have it on my nook and I added a chapter in the NM version twice.
I can combine the documents at work and email them to you if you want. Let me know.

Can someone here verify this please. I heard SM was going to sell her rights to Twilight and let someone else write and continue the Twilight story is this true? I'm sorry but it won't be the same and I would be very disappointed and surprised that SM would sell this treasure that she created and what made her.

Brenda~ I am just re-reading the series so I forgot that he lives as long as he wants.

Lulu~ Awww I am so happy for you and your family. Yes the Twilight HH group ( Twilight fandom as well) is an amazing group here. We are all here for each other and I am so glad you are able to go and get it done now. That is awesome!

Jaclyn~ No I didn't go see it with my mom. My dad became very sick the next day from arriving so we went out to eat and then left and drove back home.

will try to come back here today.

Brenda-whoops, sorry :) Not sure when I did that, but up until recently I was doing the majority of my posting on my phone, so whoops! Feel free to talk about your marriage here, at least with me (you can PM me if you want) because all of my girlfriends aren't married yet, I'm the first, and I love finding other married girls (and guys) to talk to. Some of my girlfriends understand the differences between married and not married, while others tell me that boys are stupid

Sean-I totally get why you wouldn't want to be there. So sorry it's stressful, my grandma's funeral was like that and it made the whole process even worse. :(

Work today, my first shift since Monday, and my body is aching from all the walking I did yesterday haha. Then hubby's small bday party tonight with his cousins/best friends. Should be fun. On that note, I have a cake to ice! Have a good day everyone!

Morning all!

It's great that you're all planning to share news about my book around. It's really encouraging. I'm hopeful it will earn enough money back for Rochelle to make a profit. She's told me not to worry about that, but I don't want her to be out of pocket because she decided to publish my book.

Grayce - yeah, I'd love a nice time out Hubby's back now (he was away on Friday night for work) so yesterday afternoon, after he returned, I announced, "I'm having a nap!" and left him and Little Man to their own devices. It was nice.

Brenda - love that photo! I was thinking I was on FB and scrolled down to 'like' it! I'll definitely send an autographed copy your way! I'm glad hubby boy has decided to come to the counsellor with you. Hopefully, you can fix things up.

Desiree - I haven't heard anything like that. Where did you read it? I would be very surprised if she did that. I don't think she'd let someone else do what they liked with her characters. I would never do it myself. There's nothing on her website, so I'd view it with skepticism unless there's something official

On my phone... I'll try to do this from memory.

Dah, haha, my brain won't work!

Sean, I was going to just say my perspective of funerals is they are really great for closure and positive feelings about the person's good life lived. I'm not you and our situations are very different, so I don't know what is best for you. Just wanted to put that out there in case you think you would regret missing your grandma's funeral. I'm sorry some of your family is making things so difficult. I hope you can find yourself in a more peaceful place soon.

Lynne--when the time comes then, we'll help spread the word!

Desiree--thank you!

GrayceM--Thanks! I was surprised how many options there are out there for infertility issues. Different ones work for different people even with the same problems. I had a friend even try acupuncture specifically treating infertility. It always amazes me that anybody gets pregnant naturally--the process is so complex. A woman's body sometimes even views an embryo as a foreign thing and destroys it. It's nuts. Anyway, thanks for your comments. :)

Brenda--I'm impressed with your hard work for your marriage. It's my belief that if both partners want to stay together, and try extra things getting extra help, they can eliminate the overwhellming negative stressors and bring the marriage back into a healthy balance. Hubs and I cycle, and sometimes we need help quitting our bad communication habits that cause fighting. It's complicated and hard, but worth it. Obviously, you seem to feel the same. Good luck!

See you all around.

Hi everyone.

I don't have much to report on the goings on since my grandma died, or at least any that I'm willing to discuss publicly. If anyone wants to know more, you can PM me, but it's not good... :(

Lulu: I decided even before she died that I probably wasn't going to her funeral. And my relatives that I referred to are still at it now, so after hearing about that, I'm def. not going to her funeral. I'll pay my respects in my own way, because those two for damn sure aren't paying any respect to their mother/my grandma!

I'll be back later.

Hi everyone.

A few updates. I know now that the funeral will be Tuesday, so I'll have to see about calling off work that day so I can stay home with Grandma. And I also now know from my brothers that my aunt and uncle are still at it with their kniviving ways, and needless to say, I'm not happy about it at all.

As for me, I might get offline for a while to eat some turkey and figure out what I want to do for the rest of tonight. I'd like to write more fan fic to try and take my mind off of things, but I don't know if I will or not.

I'll be back later.

Whew! It's nice to only have a page to read but makes me sad that things have slowed down. Well, its the weekend. Because I have a lot of Hump Days to catch up on... 99.9% sure this one is from the NY Stock Exchange.

Worked a good 12 hours today after staying up all last night to post. I have very little to say except it's so frustrating that Lex videos won't run on my work computer ... it was just going to be in the background while I did deskwork ... honestly, I wouldn't have been really watching Bill or Rob or Kris or Ashley or anyone. Really *fingers crossed*. But I listened to all the Twilight music I have stored on my phone ... 3 albums and a slew of songs from, er, places where I didn't pay for them. Think I just heard Love Is Worth the Fall from the orig Twilight album (Amazon digital version) for the first time and LOVE it!

Desiree - Where are you at in your re-read? I started over a month ago and I'm just now hitting BD Book 3. I certainly hope Steph doesn't sell off her rights. :heartbroke: I'd rather wait a couple decades, just to be sure she's not willing to write vamps again.

Grayce - No, I have the doc files straight from Phoebe Ann and have been working to put them into nice pdfs, with Contents and Title pages and high readability. Is yours downloaded from the chapters on her site or separately circulated?

Lulu - Thanks! If it works, it will totally be worth it. I love my hubs and want to keep him - we're not even anywhere near divorce. (I'm pretty sure.) I'd be the worst psychologist in the world to NOT go to marital counseling if I thought I needed it, huh?

Sarah - Well, not all boys are stupid. It's important to keep your eyes open for the good ones before they get taken by other smart girls. It sounds like you devoted yourself to a good one. Hope he had a happy birthday!

Sean - I'm sure your grandmother would support your decision not to go to her funeral, if that's what your heart tells you is best. Will you spend the time remembering her in any particular way?

Tornado - It is a nice couple of pics, eh? I call it TotalRobPorn. Anxiously awaiting your book - I really approve the new cover, with the series name more subtle, it makes it more clear that that is not the title. Have you thought about putting an approximate release date on your FB?

Brenda: I'm not sure how I'll be remembering her off the bat. I'm not sure if I'd make it to the calling hours after work--I sort of want to at least do that, but I'm not sure if I can make it. I might try and visit her grave for a while one day if the a-holes aren't around.

I do know that I'm gonna have to call off work Tuesday if I can because that's the day of the funeral and want to stay home with my other grandma.

Everyone: I'll probably be going to bed soon and I'll be reading for a while. I had the last of my turkey, and I have plenty of broth left to make noodles with. So, sorry, no new work on fan fiction tonight.

I'll be back later :)
