I just realized that I have something else to add to my list of attributes of my type of guy. I like Italian guys (like American of Italian descent, I don't know any 1st generation Italian-Americans). I don't know why. I also like guys with almost any foreign accent (british, irish, scottish, and australian are my favorites). *sigh*

It's less about a boy's look than it is about the way he holds himself. It's easy to tell if a guy thinks he's hot stuff or not. Also if he has that air about him that says, 'I don't care, I'm not gonna try to impress you', it's very attractive to me. And I hate guys who are always out on the prowl, those disgusting ones who are able to degrade women with just their eyes.
With that being said, I do normally go for guys with eyes that stand out seeing as eyes are normally the first thing I notice about people. That and hair; they have to have nice hair, which basically means it can't be too long and it looks well groomed. The last thing I normally make sure a guy has is style. I'm a big fashionista, so I'm always looking at the guys who know how to dress themselves properly. I can't stand boys who wear their baggy pants and think they look good with their underwear hanging out. Like, really... do girls actually find that attractive? If so, please inform me.

i love country boys!!! like Charles Kelley (Lady Antebellum) *drools* but there aren't many of them if at all at my school so i go with my other standards:

at least 6 ft tall (even if i'm only 5'3" i like a tall guy)
not too skinny
not over muscular
knows and uses english grammar (i don't speak gangster)
respectful/ polite
wears pants ABOVE the knees
wears clothes that actually fit (i don't like the saggy look)
good smile/pretty eyes
nice/funny
protective
clean hair (a little bed head is tolerable)
clear skin
if there is any sign of black nail polish or piercings -- forget it

southern drawls are always a plus *melts*

I have some guidelines! I wonder if any guy will stand up to them!

1. Hair/eye color really doesn't matter but I would prefer he had black hair that went to his jawline and green eyes.
2. At least two or three inches taller then me. He can't tower over me but he can't be to my chin either.
3. No smoking, drugs, or alchol. I will not stand for it!
4. He must like animals, even just little bit. No abuse or threats of abuse towards any living creature (outside of bugs, because I hate them! :p)
5. No gangster attitude, jerk tendencies, or disrespect.
6. Respects women!
7. Has a good sense of humor!
8. Can put up with my obsessions.
9. Works or at least helps around the house. No laziness! (Or, maybe just a little, since I'm pretty lazy myself!)
10. Not overprotective.
11. Has confidence but not cocky or arrogant.
12. Outgoing and happy-go-lucky. None of that mysterious guy stuff. I'm actually getting tired of reading about guys like that. (Edward being an exception.)
13. His voice can not 1) sound too old for his age or 2) sound all high or girly.
14. No baggy pants. I hate that!
15. No cussing or at least keeps it to a minimum. I don't want every other sentence to have a profanity in it.

I'm going to stop there. I might post more later.

hmmm *taps chin*
my type of guy...i know!! i'll make a list..
Physical Things I Like:
short hair but it has that shaggy look
tall..just as long as he is taller than me by a couple of inches
pretty colored eyes
and a nice smile

For me though its more personlaity than looks..he has to be able to roll with the punches...not take stupid things seriously...be able to make me laugh and always make me feel great when im not feeling good...and i like a guy that is protective...i dont want him to stand by as some other guy flirts with me...he needs come and take control..haha..OH!! he has to be...not stupid..i like a guy that is smart...and it would be a MAJOR plus if he liked to read...we have to at least like same type of music...

I dont want one of these...gentric, cookie cutter, Ambercombie and Hollister wearing clones...i want a guy that is himself...unquie...one of a kind...cuz thats how i am...Oh..and he has to respect me and my choices...

geez..i sound picky...not all of these things are required..but they are very nice to have ^_^

My list:

1 - Not blonde, sorry but I prefer darker hair.
2 - Short, like under 6'0". I'm short and I like guys who are like 5'7" or 5'8"
3 - Has to have some brains
4 - Must be artistic
5 - Longer hair is loved. I like curly hair and a shaggy look but not past the shoulders.

I don't really have a type of guy, but I have things that I look for in a guy. It's kinda the same thing I guess, but whatever. Ha ha. Let's list them. Shall we?

-funny. He has to be able to make me laugh (which isn't that hard cause I laugh at everything)
-handsome.
-trustworthy.
-loyal.
-you know, the usual.
-but I'm weird and I know how "every girl likes a bad boy", but I hate bad boys. I want a good boy? Does that make sense?

I can't think of anything else at the moment, but you get the gist of it. I think?
