Re: The Soundtrack
I think the song "Love Song for A Vampire" from the movie "Dracula" sung by Annie Lennox would be so awesome for this movie. Check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-vzjZenAQM
Re: The Soundtrack
Okay, a good song should be " Sunset and Carcrashes" by The Spoiled Canvas. They also actually mention 'twilight' in their lyrics and the song is slow and very cool. take a lsiten to it i reckon it would suit the movie so muchh .

Re: The Soundtrack
I think Greg Laswell's "How the Day Sounds" would be great for the meadow scene.
And I think I like
How the day sounds
Like how the day sounds
Through this new song
Thank you for opening the window
The sky is clear as my mind is now
I was a long, long way off
Join me in welcoming the sun in
It's much brighter
Than the night I hid in
I was a long, long way off
Take a listen at his MySpace.

Into Your Arms by The Maine
The first verse fits quite well
There was a new girl in town.
She had it all figured out. (Had it all figured out)
And I'll state something rash.
She had the most amazing....smile.
I bet you didn't expect that.
But she made me change my ways. (She made me change my ways)
With eyes like sunsets baby.
And legs that went on for days.
(that's only the first verse)
It's a cute song

I think Edward should sing Thunder by Boys Like Girls to Bella. It's not really part of any scene in the book but it's would be cute.
Re: The Soundtrack
i was so happy to hear that muse was going to be on there. it was a must in some form or fashion. i was shocked myself that it was SBH. i was sure hoping for time is running out myself. not that SBH isn't nice and all, but i cant wait to see how it will be used.Twilight<3 wrote:Yay for Muse! However, it's pretty shocking that they are using SMBH. You are right, least expecting that one. I was thinking Time is Running Out or Hysteria.. but SMBH? I mean, where do you think it will be used? Someone suggested at the prom since it is a dancy type song (If I was younger, I bet I would stand up in the movie theatre and start dancing.. but I'm more mature now. Who knows though! )buffybuff wrote:I read about "Supermassive Black Hole" in one of the articles about the "Twilight" panel at Comic-Con. (I read so many of them, I couldn't say exactly where I found it.) It said that Stephenie made the announcement that they had just gotten a Muse song for the movie, and then the director said that it was "SBH" and Muse was going to mix the song, and that it would be in a really cool scene in the movie. It's pretty much the last Muse song I'd expect to hear in the movie, but I'll take whatever song they could get. Muse is fantastic. Since it's a pretty sexy song, maybe it'll be used for the Nomads??
I was kind of hoping Matt would do the lullaby, as well, because he is a brilliant writer but I guess that's not happening either. Too bad.
if rob did write the lullaby i so can't wait for that one! i wouldn't want to hear it before hand either like someone said. it would ruin it for me. i want to hear it for the first time when the movie comes out.
so many songs out there that could be used. i'm a huge RED fan. all their lyrics are just so amazing. but one that i would love to hear on there would be "pieces" that song is so good. here are a few of the lyrics.
Then I'll see your face
I know I'm finally yours
I find everything I thought I lost before
You call my name
I come to you in pieces
So you can make me whole
I've come undone
But you make sense of who I am
Like puzzle pieces in your eye
just about any of their songs would be good though. i love listening to them while i'm reading the books.
