Hey, not sure if this is mentioned but:

This song is awesome and it speaks about Bella and Edward.

"when you were young" The killers
Lyrics:

You sit there in your heartache---bella's heart! after he leaves
Waiting on some beautiful boy to----edward
save you from your old ways
You play forgiveness-----she forgave him for leaving
Watch it now ... here he comes!

He doesn't look a thing like Jesus-----Hmm, maybe Adonis yeh? LOL
But he talks like a gentleman-----SO EDWARD
Like you imagined when you were young

Can we climb this mountain-------mountain is the unlikeliness of them to work out, to try it!
I don't know----------the confusion
Higher now than ever before
I know we can make it if we take it slow----------they had to move slowly near each other at first.
Let's take it easy
Easy now, watch it go

We're burning down the highway skyline
On the back of a hurricane that started turning
When you were young-------------------this could be edward looking back when Bella was mortal still, and "young"
When you were young

And sometimes you close your eyes-------------------this might be more related to Edward.
and see the place where you used to live
When you were young

They say the devil's water, it ain't so sweet----------------devils water, vampire venom, SAME THING!!!
You don't have to drink right now----------------Edward wanting Bella to wait to give up her humanity.
But you can dip your feet----------------------------dip her mouth in his mouth= his venom? eh ;)
Every once in a little while

Chorus again.

I said he doesn't look a thing like Jesus
He doesn't look a thing like Jesus
But more than you'll ever know ------------------because he looks like ADONIS PEOPLE!

So what do you reckon? It matches?
Edward Cullen- "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb"
Isabella Swan- "What a stupid lamb"
-Team Seth!

and for new moon i would say bruised by jack's mannequin because edward leaves her and then bella "plane" would be jacob but even though she has jacob she is still bruised.

and just because i hear it on the radio like three times a day and i think of twilight when i listen to some of the lyrics fall for you by second hand serenade
i lovee jacks mannequin.
bruised is my favorite.

it does go with new moon.

Aqualung- Brighter Than Sunshine
Fidelity-Regina Spektor
Lullaby- Spill Canvas (Honestly this one is so gorgeous. It makes me cry.)
Stolen- Dashboard Confessional
Kissing You-Des'ree
Hysteria-Muse
When I See You Smile- Bic Runga (Look her up, she's great)
Giving It Away (Acoustic)-Mae

Okay thats all I can think of right now. :]
I have to tell you, I searched for "Giving It Away" on iTunes because I own another song by Mae that I just adore ("Suspension"), and I am SO glad that you listed it here. That song is gorgeous! I love the piano accompaniment, and the lyrics fit so well. It's such a beautiful song. I highly recommend it to everyone!

This is for keep-Spill Canvas(the song is actually about vampires and love, how perfect)
I thought so too! I was listening to it in the car with my boyfriend, and I suddenly shouted out "Twilight!" ... it's too bad The Spill Canvas isn't on the soundtrack at all!

Agreed!! Spill Canvas all the way!!! I'm thinking if there's a New Moon, then Spill Canvas will probably be on it.
And yeah, I'm thinking "Hit the Floor" - by bullet for my valentine for when edward first realizes he loves Bella.
And "These Tears don't fall" - also by BFMV for just when ever B and E are having.. "struggles" over the whole vamp/human issue. lol I pretty much have new moon flash backs when ever i listen to their album. ^^

ok so i do admit i'm not the biggest avril lavigne fan, but everytime i hear this song a immediately think of twilight. it's from bella's POV (about/to edward obviously), i think it goes well in the beginning-ish of twilight. here are the lyrics:

*song: these thing's i'll never say*

I'm tugging out my hair
I'm pulling at my clothes
I'm trying to keep my cool
I know it shows
I'm staring at my feet
My cheeks are turning red
I'm searching for the words inside my head

[Pre-Chorus]
(And) I'm feeling nervous
Trying to be so perfect
Cause I know you're worth it
You're worth it,
Yeah

[Chorus] If I could say what I want to say
I'd say I wanna blow you - away
Be with you every night
Am I squeezing you too tight
If I could say what I want to see
I want to see you go down
On one knee
Marry me today
Guess I'm wishing my life away
With these things I'll never say

It don't do me any good
It's just a waste of time
What use is it to you
What's on my mind
If ain't coming out
We're not going anywhere
So why can't I just tell you that I care

(Cause) I'm feeling nervous
Trying to be so perfect
Cause I know you're worth it
You're worth it
Yeah

[Chorus]

What's wrong with my tongue
These words keep slipping away
I stutter, I stumble
Like I've got nothing to say

(Cause) I'm feeling nervous
Trying to be so perfect
Cause I know you're worth it
You're worth it
Yeah

Guess I'm wishing my life away with these things I'll never say
[Chorus]

"Unsaid" by The Fray

This song just really reminds me of Bella and Edwards relationship in the first book. Especially in the beginning.
"I walk you to your car so we can talk it out in the rain..." Pretty much Bella and Edward.
And, there's a lot left "unsaid" between them in the very beginning...

(the fray may have had a more somber situation that this song was meant for, but I think the first part of Bella & Edward's relationship is pretty somber in spots. Sort of a sadness to it. Does that make sense?

Have you heard Lullaby from them?
It screams Twilight.

^^ A lot of the songs actually remind me of Twilight...another good one by them to me is Valiant. (Twilight-wise that is)

---The blood collects and flushes out your cheek bones
I've got this secret garden and you are the only one who knows
I'm stuttering and drooling
My shredded throat will try to sing for you
(the first part especially!)
