Has anyone else read these books? I think that they're really good. I read all three of them within a week-span. I think it would be cool to be born on midnight and have these powers that can only happen in the secret hour. I'd love to have John's power, but that's just me.

Are there other Midnighter fans out there or is it just me?

it's not just you — i think they're his best books so far myself.

it'd be absolutely amazing to be able to fly ... i love that thirteen was the number that had the midnight creatures terrified, when it's usually an unlucky number!

Yeah! I thought that it was completely ironic. But after I finished the series, I tried to think up as many tridecladigms (Sp?) as I could just to see if I could do it. It's very hard thinking up of ones on your own. All of the ones I thought were already used in the book! Haha.

Dess was an interesting character, though. Being a polymath? Wouldn't you get bored during math class? But then again, that would be like the best thing for me and math. :)

My friend got me to read the first book. I really liked it. I haven't read the others yet but I probably will soon. I love Jonathon!

I loved the first two but not so much the third. I don't know why though. I was a bit disappointed because I had been waiting along time for it to come out and then I didn't like it as much as I did the others. I still liked it though.

OH OH! I just got the first book of the series from the library to give it a go. I love this guy. Anyone read the Uglies/Pretties/Specials/Extras series? How about Peeps? I'm reading the second book to Peeps right now. Scott Westerfeld has a great imagination!!

I just finished reading the Ugles/Pretties/Specials series and I just starting reading Extras. I fell in love with Scott Westerfeld's writing. I can't wait until I get to read Midnighters. I've heard great things about it. OH! I'm totally going to be front in line for his new book Leviathan.

Yeah I really liked the series! It's really interesting.

I haven't read the Uglies books yet. I want to, it sounds really good. Maybe I will get them so I can have something to read while at school. :)
