What if the reason that Jacob liked Bella in the first place was because of Nessie?

Perhaps the reason he liked her, but didn't imprint, was because Bella had half of Nessie's DNA?

Irina betrayed Nessie (Midnight Sun) to the Volturi (the proverbial sharks of the internet), who noticed the secret (Midnight Sun's inner workings also being a secret), and set out to destroy the Cullens/Forks (Steph/Fandom)....
