Re: Pride and Prejudice

That was one. My last paragraph, if you see, is about Bella's strength. We were discussing her strength compared to the strength of Elizabeth Bennet. Pride and Prejudice and Twilight have virtually nothing in common. I'm almost offended that this book is being compared to such a great piece of liter...

Re: Leah Clearwater

I don't know...I don't think being an evil, snarky witch is "handling the pain" better than anyone else in the series. I'd sooner shut down the way Bella did, than be so evil as to make everyone on the rez want to run for the hills when they saw me coming. Exaggerated, I'm assuming. That's really n...

Re: Angela Weber

My first reaction was a little surprised that none of her human friends were in the wedding, especially Angela. But Bella really didn't have anything to do with the planning whatsoever. The only decision she made was to have Alice as maid of honor. There were no bridesmaids or groomsmen if I rememb...

Re: Pride and Prejudice

Maybee physically (until she became a vampire) but she has a very strong mind stronger, than Edwards. She survived when he left her, she did do a couple of stupid things but she survived. When she found out that a vampire army of newborns were created to kill her she didn't freak out, she was only ...

Re: Mike Newton

I still remember a guy I knew in high school saying, "I just assume that all girls are into me unless they explicitly state otherwise." I remember thinking it was utterly ridiculous at the time, but now I actually admire the sheer chutzpah. Kind of reminds me of Mike. :) Haha! I have a friend who's...

Re: Renesmee

In many respect Nessie ability shouldn't work on Bella. However, I'm wondering since she is genetically her child if that is the difference. Its like how Edward told Bella that her mind worked at a different frequency then other people. Maybe Nessie's mind has the ability to adjust to that frequenc...

Re: Renesmee

What holdingoutforjacob said about how Renesmee shouldn't be able to interfere with Bella's thoughts because Bella's mind is 'private' is a valid point. Renesmee places her hand on Bella's cheek and transmits thoughts to her brain. It is seen in the brain, ergo Renesmee is messing with Bella's brain...

Re: Edward Cullen #2

I do believe Edward would love the Spice Girls. He's such a sensitive boy who really cares about what's in a woman's mind, and what better way to connect with the female than through extremely fake breasts and high, false singing?

Re: Jane

SMeyer said she got that power because she was changed halfway through being burned at the stake for being a witch... something of that sort. It didn't make much sense to me, because SMeyer said the power comes from a quality you had in your human life that is emphasized as a vampire. A 'gift'.
