Re: Zafrina

Zafrina's another character I'm interested in. I agree her power is pretty cool. I was also intrigued by the way bella seemed kind of afraid of her, but nessie was drawn to her. Interesting. It makes me wonder if nessie's power will develop in a similar vein.

Re: Jacob Black

He was after Edward because he assumed Bella had been changed. Not because he thought she was dead. (Permanently dead?) It was the action of a spurned teen. I think a spurned teen would have tried to destroy edward to hurt bella. Jacob truly thought that what edward did was wrong. They weren't reas...

Re: Jacob and Edward's relationship

snip And the "my brother...My son" line was one of the best lines of BD for me. I bawled my eyes off. snip I'm still amazed at the different reactions to that line. When he said it, it seemed surreal to me. I think I got the intention behind it, but it still felt a bit...off. But I can de...

Re: Jacob Black

snip second of all, when did he promise to protect that baby? he promised to kill edward when and if bella died. but do you think he would have done that either? and what makes you think his intention was to kill her. as i remember it, he left bella's room because she was dead, pretty much, and he ...

Re: Jacob Black

I like how SM put book two in Jacob's perspective, when i read his prespective in new moon's extra, i just can't wait to have more of his head again. even though Jacob is kinda "different" after he imprinted (not like i have anything againts his imprint or what ever) it's like Jacob grew ...

Bloodlust wrote: snip Valid point. You're actually right with how I worded, but it's evident that I'm not making myself clear and I don't seem to be able to find the words to do so. snip For me, the difference in reading from Bella's perspective and then reading from Jake's POV explain what I can't ...

Re: Jacob Black

i think (and god do i hope) that "jessie" will be more simple. no less romantic - in fact, in my opinion, more romantic - but so much less mushy. men shouldn't say things that edward does. i know that's sexist and terrible, but i, personally, like my men a little rougher. which is why i l...

Re: Jacob Black

snip So it surprised me that when BD came out and Jacob stepped into the picture I couldn't feel my usual hate that i held for him. And whatever remaining negative feelings I held for him which were still quite a few were completely erased when i read Jacob's book. By the end of it i actually found...

Re: Jacob Black

snip I don't think Jacob Black is an immature person, more that I think he has an immature mind; the mind of a 16/17 year old boy. Essentially, his first reaction to a situation is to look at it with the 16/17 year old boy mentality, but then the more "mature" and "truth-seeing"...

Re: Edward, Bella, and Nessie as a family

What I read convinced me that Edward adored Nessie. I think highlighting the jacob/nessie dynamic was a way to emphasize that yes jacob had imprinted on her and that it was a monumental event in both their lives. It's funny because I read the comments of alot of B/E shippers who really didn't like t...
