LOL. You flatter me with your praise.

Actually, if there was such a thread, it should include who_needs_fangs. :)
We need to set up that trivia corner!
Yes!

Where should we put it?

I love trivia! Let's do it. Crank it up!

I would like an alternate ending for J.Jenks. Not that I was in love with his character or anything...but I feel bad for him sitting there living with so much anxiety. Even though he's kind of a sketchy guy who does illegal things...I was intrigued by SM's idea she once had about him calling on Bella for a favor. I think that would be a cute little extra.

Oh, since you brought J. Jenks up, I'd just like to say that I LOVED his reaction to Bella's request:

"Oh, I was hoping we could speak for just a moment."
"About?"
"It's a bit delicate..."
"J, please just say whatever you need to."
He took another breath and then mumbled quickly, slurring the words together.
"If you could just assure me that you are not planning to kidnap the little girl from her father, I would sleep better tonight."

 You just wouldn't expect something like this from a guy like J. Jenks, right? :D

That is totally what I thought! And actually, it makes me feel a little bit better about liking him. Yeah, maybe he helps out dirty scum in an illegal underground business, but at least he makes sure they aren't kidnapping babies. lol

I felt so sorry for J Jenks.
He just seemed totally frightened all the time.
I wanted to give him a hug :(

Well... Jenks may have been frightened, and he may be a baby-protector, but he was also totally hot for Bella. Let's be clear on that. :D

As if that was not another plus for us to find he even funnier!

By the way, I have another question...
Since SM has reinvented the whole vampire and werewolf myth, did she also invented the one about Lobishomen (the brazilian myth)?
Since I'm from Brazil, it took me by surprised that she used something to similar to what we actually have (here we call it "lobisomem" - or in another words, werewolf). I googled it and saw that the myths involving Lobishomen are not really Brazilian, even though the words is derived from the Brazilian form of it. So, did SM used an already existing myth or she made it up? Any theories? Have SM ever said something about it?

That's a great question chowzinha. I am from the Philippines and though she also mentions the Danag in Twilight, I cannot locate a reliable source as to what the Danag originally is. (Everything I see now is a word-for-word quote of the passage in the novel.)

If I ever find something reliable, I will post it here.
