Made fun of for liking Twilight?

I have a page on facebook and my friends that have seen it have seen this picture since it's the one on display and they call me crazy and Twilight freak. I wish i had something like that, i only talk about twilight when someone mentions it, first i'm like don't get me started, then i go on and on!! If I didn't wait for someone to start a convo about twilight before i spoke i would be constantly chatting about twilight and later everyone will just stay away from me lol!!

You have the self-restraint to not talk about twilight? Wow...It's gonna take me a long time to hold a conversation without mentioning Twilight

Being that im african american, when i talk about it around my family i feel like an outsider cause they have no clue what im talking about

I generally only talk about Twilight around my equally-as-obsessed friends. Otherwise you run into those people that just roll their eyes and mutter that you're one of 'those' people.

But even in my circle of friends, I do sometimes get that reaction. They just aren't AS into it as I am.

My husband thinks im mad! my eldest son (age 7) knows all the charcters in the books because i go on about it that much. I ve tried in vane to get my mates into it. I know i am an addict.

My sister has read it already, and I'm working on my brother and my mum.
She says she's too busy to read it, so I'm waiting until she has a spare moment so I can shove it in her hands.

My husband accused me of being obsessed last night... every time he looked over at the computer I was doing something Twilight related.

He is right, I am, haha, but I thought I was doing a better job of hiding it.

I feel silly being in my twenties and getting this sucked into a YA series, but I can't help it. I am going to see the movie again this weekend and then read the whole series again. I'm going to pace myself tho and take more than 4 days to read them all this time

totally with you- my wallpaper & screensaver are Twilight and im currently reading some twilight fanfaction!!! its all i do... poor kids dont even get a look in.

I absolutely love this thread. It feels like home..we're all equally obsessed and get the crazy stares. At least we're not alone!

Many of my friends have read the saga, but I recently converted my two best friends and they are hooked!! I get phone calls like "thanks Courtney, this is ALL I ever do now!" or "OMG! WTF I HATE JACOB." I'm in the process of re-reading Twilight, but it's fun to relive the initial reactions through them.
