Yeah, they did it on purpose. I watched part of the commentary one night and they talked about it at the first diner scene. That they wanted to introduce her as a vegetarian, that's why she got a garden burger (veggie burger) . . . It just annoyed me. The whole cafe thing? Bella was always cooking and in the movie they never showed that. The whole thing about Bella is that there wasn't anything really special about her. She was supposed to be completely normal, average, mediocre even. She mentioned in Breaking Dawn that in her human form she had never been good about anything except maybe dealing with her Renee or taking care of Charlie. They've really taken all that out. It makes me sad . . .
