Alison wrote:What is everyone's feelings on this director's notebook they're releasing? I like how this book came out of the blue, but the official guidebook keeps being put off although it was supposed to be released in December. The concept behind it sounds exactly like the movie companion. I'm sure it will have new information, though.

I really don't know about this. I have the movie companion book & it's pretty cool. (I love the pictures best.) But this sounds like it'll have more, cool, & different stuff. And it almost seems to me like another way to get us fans to spend our money!! There's just so much merchandise out there & I've already spent too much money on stuff!

YAY! haha....sorry, little fangirl moment there....

"But the book isn’t the only thing fans have to look forward to. They’ll also be able to snap up the Twilight DVD on March 21. Its bonus materials, Hardwicke told EW, will include makeout scenes deleted from the movie."

I don't remember hearing those scenes would be on the DVD for sure, so good news! :D

EDIT I just reread that, and they didn't actually say deleted Edward and Bella makeout scenes....Hmm :? *sigh* I guess we'll have to wait and see. I remember hearing there would be kissing scenes, but between James and Victoria I think...GAH I don't know!

One thing I do know will be on it (from an MTV interview) is a scene we actually see on the credits. Edward's in white and he sort of trips her, they look sooo cute! She mentioned them doing that to have something closer to the true "meadow scene" from the book. Anyway, she said it would be on the DVD...I'll go find the link.

I'm back  ....

As for the other deleted scenes, “There are some scenes that are longer, and some scenes that we don’t have in the movie,” Hardwicke explained. “There’s one scene that’s not in the film where Rob and Kristen are walking alone, and he trips her and they fall back into these leaves, and then he takes a bite of her finger. … It’s Kristen’s favorite scene.”

Here's the link http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe ... sing+scene+

I was wrong about this being a new "meadow scene" though, I remembered another interview and got confused, lol...so forget that. But either way, it looks like it's going to be adorable!!

My last post was yestreday, so hopefully this isn't really "double posting"

There's also going to be an Alice figure!!

The picture: http://www.cooltoyreview.com/TF2009/Nec ... image6.asp

It was on display at the 2009 Toy Fair. You can read the story on the news blog
