Lord knows I could use an Ian in my life! haha, I love Ian. I melted when he first showed signs of loving Wanda for who she really is. I think that is so sweet, isn't that what we all want. And I also love the part when he held her in his hands and said that she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seem. Ian is also human which makes him soooo much better.

Anyway, didn't it mention that Ian and Kyle are Irish? I could have sworn I read that the first time through but I can't remember when or why it was said. I'm pretty sure it wasn't just my imagination (even though Kyle, Ian and O'Shea are about as Irish as it gets) so does anyone else remember reading this bit?

I think that although he started off a bit more like the other humans, as soon as she jumped in front of Jared (I think it was) to protect him, and as soon as he saw that she was no harm, he liked her nearly immediatly. I thought it was so sweet how we saw all the signs of him liking Wanda for herself, and not just Mel, or Mel's body. He is a bit overprotective at times, and reminded me of Edward, which I didn't like. Overall he is awesome - he still loved Wanda even when she was in a different body. And this post will end how it started.

We know that he works hard in the fields all day like everybody else... and Kyle was never described as being so white. Maybe he's albino. An albino with black hair and blue eyes. Yea.

i dont know the exact age but he is around the same age as jared...which is about 30...because at the end wanda lied about her age so she woundlt have to go throught the same thing as mel did.

About twenty-five, and Kyle is thirty.

^^Thast's interesting, I always pictured them as twins, or being closer in age. It makes sense though.

I always imagined Ian as being around 25. I did figure they were closer in age though, even though Kyle always seemed about 30 to me. Makes sense, huh?

He's my favorite character in the Host, and the reason I keep re-reading it. :]
I figured Wanda would fall in love with him with the way she would always talk about how 'brilliant' his eyes are.
And it was pretty obvious he liked her too when he kissed her forehead.
