there actually suppose to be making a movie coming out in 2011, but really i wish they'd start with pretties and just adapt because thats my favorite and i just wanna see Zane ahahah who would play him?

OMG REALLY? REALLY REALLY?
wow, i am so stoked for the movie. i hope they do the books justice. the books are so so so fantastic. if they do the movie good, the book will be amazing translated in motion. ahh, reading that book is a very real experience. i can't wait to see it in film. i hope it's not a cheap movie.
i really hope a studio like Paramount or WB takes it, that way they will be able to fund it really good.

So i finished the uglies series and out of all the books my favorite was the 1st book Uglies.
The series was okay, but im sure it would have seemed better to me if i read it back before i read so many other series.(because i've read a lot of really good books...so this was ok)

I think the first one is the best also. I got so mad at Pretties and Specials that I refused to read them for a while. Westerfield seems to have a knack for setting up romance and not following through on it. I mean he ditched Zane in a hospital. I liked Zane better than David. I don't think it would have taken anything away from the series if Westerfield had explored those relationships better. I think it would have made the tension of the action parts even better.

Zane is wayyy better than David i agree, but what i've also noticed about Westerfeld because i read all of his books besides the space ones is that the guy cant write an ending. He ends specials with a we'll be back, peeps with a were still out there, so yesterday i can't remember cause i hated it and midnighters with the girl being stuck in a different time! so yes he never follows through on romance which is what i really wanted at least, but all in all im a big westerfeld fan i just wish he'd write a desent ending :/

Am I the only David-lover out here? Zane's okay, but I just really like David because he's so down-to-earth. I don't know, I just like David more. Well, I at least know I'm not alone. In my middle school yearbook, my bookworm buddy wrote, "Zane sucks. Darcy rocks." Haha. That year we were going through an Uglies/Pride and Prejudice stage.

Zane is okay but I don't really like him. He seems like he trys to hard at times.
But I like david becasue he is a human being. He can see past what you look like unlike most. And he is down to earth.

Ha. I like David a lot, he's really nice, but I'm sorry I'm a sucker for Pretty faces.
And Zane is really nice and caring. He doesn't care what Tally did, he loved her anyways. So did David, ish, but I like it better in Zane.
And did I mention he's pretty? I like pretty guys with long hair. Zane, in my head, has really long hair. Its quite sexy.
But, taht doesn't mean I don't like David. He's a good character.
