I'm going to have to say that as far as thrill rides go, there is no place better than Cedar Point.

Dragster, anyone?

Samurai at Lagoon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8Po21im ... re=related (dude, on this one, you totally lose track of which way is up and which way is down.)

I am going to Cedar Point Monday and hopefully can get my son on the Maverick. He is only 8 and this is our first trip to CP that he is tall enough to ride the coasters. I am so excited to go. CP also Halloweekends that start September 12th I believe and runs thru November 2nd (dress warm-right on the lake!!) They have haunted houses and "screamers" all over the park. It is a lot of fun. Recommend to all!!
oh no not you too!!! i'm in ohio (about 2 1/2 hours away from CP) and EVERYONE is obsessed with Ceder point it really gets old after a while... I prefer Disney World :D kiddy rides are amazing since i'm not much or a roller coaster person

My favorite amusement park is a tie between Sea World and Walt Disney World. I'm not one for thrill rides or roller coasters. I love the Wild Arctic ride at Sea World and at Walt Disney World I would have to say the Winnie The Pooh ride makes the top of my list.

The only amusement park I've ever been to is Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio.
They've got some decent stuff, but most of it I'm terrified of, hah.
I actually cried on one of the coasters... The Vortex I think it's called...
And this was like, 3 years ago, hah. I suck.

OKay,
well the only amusement part i've been to recently, and a few times at that, is
Canada's Wonderland.

And i went on the new ride BOHEMOTH!

OME it's so amazing!

It's the fastest, tallest, steepest roller coaster in Canada! Gawd, the first drop is sooooo steep! It's literally vertical!

Amazing : )

Last place I went was Great Wolf Lodge in Virginia. The ride there, Howlin' Tornado(?), Is realllllllllllllly fun!
If anybody's been there, The place you go into before the drop is HUGE! I really wasn't expecting it to be that big.
Oh, and Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Europe is the funnest thing ever!
