Ive had braces for over 10 years. Had every single one that existed back then. Thank gawd thats over...but it was worth it.

I had braces for a year or something like that. I hated them but yeah, in the end it was worth it.
My grandmother used to have this obsession with my teeth when I was little and then she'd start commenting loudly on them so everyone could hear (no wonder I got so insecure and was afraid to show my teeth by smiling) but now she can't do that any more! Now I can smile again.

My sister has braces, and so do a lot of my friends, but I don't need them.
They don't mind it because so many people have braces, it's not unusual, it's cool. The only bad thing is that you can't eat some things, and going to the dentists for check-ups and tightening and all that isn't exactly fun for them. You can get loads of different colours though, and we always celebrate when a friend gets their braces off.

I have braces right now but fortunately I'm one of those lucky people who get to wear them for a few months. (Then what's the point?!) I've no idea but somehow, my dentist thought it was necessary for me to get them on the top and bottom.

I'm wearing those rubber bands at night, though. So I'm hoping I get it off before my senior year.

I may possibly getting braces soon. Which sssuuuccckkksss. Blah.
That reminds me, I have an appt on Tuesday. eek.

Emma - Yup, some people get lists of what they can't eat, maybe it depends on why you have braces, but my friends with braces can't eat some things.

im getting braces soon, the end of this month infact coz my teeth are really bad. I wd of gotten them last year but i had to have an operation first to take lots (well 4) teeth out.
my m8 alice cant eat some foods coz of her braces, she had them tightened on thursday n cdnt eat anything a little bit hard coz of the pain she was in

aww that sucks^^^ I have braces, actually I've had them twice but I have no idea why since my teeth are straight, sigh im convinced that my orthodntists just doesn't like me lol jk

Actually I'm getting mine on sometime this month. I don't even know how long I will have to have them. That's a scary thought. lol
