I had glasses since I was 8, I think. But I seldom wore them until secondary school.
My eyesight is really bad, about 300+ degrees. Once I take off my glasses, I can only be able to read big words from a distance and people's faces will be very blurry.
Currently, I have 2 pairs of glasses, one for normal use and the other for school, during lectures. Both are frameless, which I love.
People always asked me why don't I try contacts, and my answer is, contacts makes me feel icky and weird. I can't imagine putting something into my eye. Yuck. And I'm scared of the pain too.

I had bad eyesight, it runs in our family plus I love reading so I wear glasses early. I start wearing one when I was 14. My mom was against contact lenses so I don't have them until I was 19. I still wear my glasses when I'm at home I prefer contact lens when I'm at work its easier to manage...

Hihi I saw the title of this thread and knew I had to post....
Ok, I don't have glasses, my doctor says I can see a musquito on the clock tower of a church...
But I've been always envious of those who can wear glasses....these days specially here in Holland it's an accesory..
I think it looks very cool, too bad you need them for not so good reason..

Some may look good wearing glasses and these days they are really considered part of the trend but trust me you're lucky you got good eyesight...sometimes glasses can be a hassle.
