....it would also mean you wouldn't be able to smell all the nasty stuff either, which probably would be nice sometimes 
But I don't think I would like to walk around without the sense of smell, I'm so used to relying on mine so much that, if it disappeared, I'd have to put everything in my mouth in order to get some kind of 'feel' for things - just imagine that!
