Hello ladies~ I can't believe we're on page 198! It's almost time to redecorate a new thread again.
Marielle~ I'm glad you got a lot of sleep last night, but sorry that you're still so tired, and having continued headache, neck and back pain, etc. Do you think anything else could be going on, or is it just stress-related? Hopefully your upcoming vacation will help relieve the symptoms. I hope your brother has a safe "tour" (or whatever you call it). How long will he be at sea with work this time? I bet the soccer team definitely helps your grandpa to stay young--age is just a number, right? I think it's very cool that your Dad is a Harry Potter fan--as no one in my family (older than myself) is a HP fan.
I loved that wallpaper you posted and saw it late last night on Robsessed. Which photoshoot is that from? Rob looks utterly gorgeous with the scruff bordering on full beard, and the hair that you could just tangle your fingers in.......
Susie~ Great video of SonnyBoy doing the Mexican Cloud Swing--thanks for sharing! Congrats on completing the online coursework, and have fun putting together your lesson plans over the next couple of weeks. Sorry about the dental issues....what can you do about your "bite" being off? I'm sorry you have to sit through the crowns being filed off in order to remove them-- that sounds rather uncomfortable.
Do you use the nitrous oxide (laughing gas?) I always thought it helped take the edge off. It was one of my favorite things about having a cavity filled when I was young--and I probably loved it a little more than I should.
Will you be able to post while you're away on your trip, or will you be "off the grid"?
Missp~ Glad to hear you're feeling better. Are you getting used to your school schedule (and earlier bedtime hours) again? I bet you're loving the extra free time you have without the after school program this year....although I know they miss your leadership and expertise.
Caryn~ Loved the dueling Musical Robcrack posted by you and
Ginnie today....
you both win! Strange weather indeed....and all because you wore a dress to work.
I understand how you feel about being uncomfortable with the kids getting home just before you or your husband. It's not so much what the kids would get up to at home. I guess I'm just worried some weirdo could be stalking the bus and watching to see which kids get off the bus and seem to go into an empty house. I do love Jennde's
Dear Mr.Masen. Although her Edward and Bella are a little out of character, I enjoy them for their own sake, and especially the funny and sweet banter they share via e-mail (at first), and later in person. And even though you sometimes want to hit Edward over the head to knock a little sense into him, his inner monologue is just priceless.
Kayla~ Thanks for linking us to the posts by the Gutter Guys and Gals--those were hilarious! I always wondered what that thread was about and can't believe I've never lurked there. I could probably get myself into some serious trouble on that thread.
Newjen~ I hope you enjoyed your birthday, and let your family spoil
you, for a change. I'm so sorry about the recent loss of your cat. How old was he/she?
Christina and Ginnie~ What's the latest on the weather headed your way? Please stay safe ladies, and take care.
Christina~ I can't believe your Publix and Wal-Mart carry Entertainment Weekly! I've never seen EW in those stores here, but I'll double check, just in case.
Ginnie~ I'm glad LilRob enjoyed his first day of pre-school, and that your survived as well. I remember always trying to plan too many things (errands, cleaning, exercising, etc.) in those few and precious pre-school hours, so don't forget to take a little time for yourself.
Desiree~ Good luck with the start of your classes! Yes, I do plan my work schedule so I get home just before my daughter gets off the school bus. She's only in 6th grade, and while she's fairly mature, we're just not really comfortable with the idea of her staying by herself just yet. She has had to come in the house just minutes before I made it home a couple of times already (the bus actually arrived earlier than scheduled
) But she knows our garage door code, and also has a key and knows to let herself in and lock the door. We also relented and got her a very basic cell phone this year, only to use in case of emergencies. We thought it might come in handy, especially when after school activities get into full swing, in case she needs to notify us of a time or schedule change at the last minute. The cell phones must be kept in kids' lockers and turned off during school hours, or they will be confiscated by the school.
Hello to
