Sweet Jesus on a camel, girls, what the hell is going on in the world? Earthquakes in Colorado and Virginia and a hurrican coming in? I swear the fact that I willingly wore a dress to work yesterday has nothing to do with this! Keep an eye out for plagues of locusts or frogs. Good grief.

NewJen~ Happy Birthday, Sweetie!! (Sorry I neglected to mention it this morning, but it completely slipped my mind as I didn't visit the main board before I posted) . Hope it's been fabulous.

Ginnie~ Seee!!! See what MusicalRob does to me! I lose all manner of function in my brain. To make up for my slip, how about... this.

Kayla~ :rotfl: That's why I ADORE that board!!! :rotfl:

Gotta run, girls. It's finally raining, so I'm betting they call soccer early.

HAPPY B'DAY, NEW JEN!

KAYLA~~ OMGosh!!! Tooo funny!! I had to put my drink down to keep it from coming out my nose. And... OH... the mental pics! LOL!

SUSIE~~ The Grammar skill for this week was The Four Kinds of Sentences... Declarative, Interrogative, Imperative, and Exclamatory. They have a test on it tomorrow. I do hope they do well!

To all my other sisters~~

Hello ladies~ I can't believe we're on page 198! It's almost time to redecorate a new thread again.

Marielle~ I'm glad you got a lot of sleep last night, but sorry that you're still so tired, and having continued headache, neck and back pain, etc. Do you think anything else could be going on, or is it just stress-related? Hopefully your upcoming vacation will help relieve the symptoms. I hope your brother has a safe "tour" (or whatever you call it). How long will he be at sea with work this time? I bet the soccer team definitely helps your grandpa to stay young--age is just a number, right? I think it's very cool that your Dad is a Harry Potter fan--as no one in my family (older than myself) is a HP fan. ;) I loved that wallpaper you posted and saw it late last night on Robsessed. Which photoshoot is that from? Rob looks utterly gorgeous with the scruff bordering on full beard, and the hair that you could just tangle your fingers in.......

Susie~ Great video of SonnyBoy doing the Mexican Cloud Swing--thanks for sharing! Congrats on completing the online coursework, and have fun putting together your lesson plans over the next couple of weeks. Sorry about the dental issues....what can you do about your "bite" being off? I'm sorry you have to sit through the crowns being filed off in order to remove them-- that sounds rather uncomfortable. :? Do you use the nitrous oxide (laughing gas?) I always thought it helped take the edge off. It was one of my favorite things about having a cavity filled when I was young--and I probably loved it a little more than I should. :D Will you be able to post while you're away on your trip, or will you be "off the grid"?

Missp~ Glad to hear you're feeling better. Are you getting used to your school schedule (and earlier bedtime hours) again? I bet you're loving the extra free time you have without the after school program this year....although I know they miss your leadership and expertise. ;)

Caryn~ Loved the dueling Musical Robcrack posted by you and Ginnie today.... you both win! :D Strange weather indeed....and all because you wore a dress to work. :) I understand how you feel about being uncomfortable with the kids getting home just before you or your husband. It's not so much what the kids would get up to at home. I guess I'm just worried some weirdo could be stalking the bus and watching to see which kids get off the bus and seem to go into an empty house. I do love Jennde's Dear Mr.Masen. Although her Edward and Bella are a little out of character, I enjoy them for their own sake, and especially the funny and sweet banter they share via e-mail (at first), and later in person. And even though you sometimes want to hit Edward over the head to knock a little sense into him, his inner monologue is just priceless.

Kayla~ Thanks for linking us to the posts by the Gutter Guys and Gals--those were hilarious! I always wondered what that thread was about and can't believe I've never lurked there. I could probably get myself into some serious trouble on that thread. :D

Newjen~ I hope you enjoyed your birthday, and let your family spoil you, for a change. I'm so sorry about the recent loss of your cat. How old was he/she?

Christina and Ginnie~ What's the latest on the weather headed your way? Please stay safe ladies, and take care. Christina~ I can't believe your Publix and Wal-Mart carry Entertainment Weekly! I've never seen EW in those stores here, but I'll double check, just in case. Ginnie~ I'm glad LilRob enjoyed his first day of pre-school, and that your survived as well. I remember always trying to plan too many things (errands, cleaning, exercising, etc.) in those few and precious pre-school hours, so don't forget to take a little time for yourself.

Desiree~ Good luck with the start of your classes! Yes, I do plan my work schedule so I get home just before my daughter gets off the school bus. She's only in 6th grade, and while she's fairly mature, we're just not really comfortable with the idea of her staying by herself just yet. She has had to come in the house just minutes before I made it home a couple of times already (the bus actually arrived earlier than scheduled :? ) But she knows our garage door code, and also has a key and knows to let herself in and lock the door. We also relented and got her a very basic cell phone this year, only to use in case of emergencies. We thought it might come in handy, especially when after school activities get into full swing, in case she needs to notify us of a time or schedule change at the last minute. The cell phones must be kept in kids' lockers and turned off during school hours, or they will be confiscated by the school.

Hello to Amy, Ann Marie, Jenn Jenn, Jaclyn and anyone else I've missed.

Hi Everyone,

Glad you liked the ActionRob pics. I hope there is still some creativeness left for me to create more. :? . I am cutting this short b/c these teachers waste no time with homework. pffff! I really like both my teachers and was excited for both english and intro to special education child development class. However my english is nothing but 8 3-5 page essays and my Child Dev class has 3 :o yes you read write 3 research papers what heck. I am dropping one and will take the other next semester.

Night ladies.

Hi All!

Tonight Sonny Boy is at the Katy Perry concert. It was rescheduled from July 9 when she was sick and cancelled. His friend’s dad is driving (thank God) and I hope they will be home soon. It is 11:30pm. We have to wake up at 5am. Just more of the same lack of sleep for Susie. I’ve got to change that someday soon.

We’re flying to Washington DC tomorrow and then taking a train to Charlottesville to meet up with the rest of my family at my in-laws. I really hope there isn’t an earthquake related problem. I’ll be “off the grid” as Tracy says, while I’m at my in-laws because they don’t even have a computer in the house. I will miss you! I’ll be driving the car back and making a couple of stops along the way, so I’ll be able to Lex from my hotels. I hope to be able to check in on Friday night. Too bad I have to miss Hump Day!

Marielle
– Wow – your poor brother! What a tiring trip. Where is this trip taking him from Boston? It’s worrisome that you are so tired lately. I really hope you get it sorted out. Maybe 8 hours of sleep would be perfect. It would be great if you could get a different job at the same company. Yes, I was up really late last night. The video took over an hour to upload to youtube. I think I must have been doing something wrong because who wants to do that? There must be a better way.

Caryn
– RobDrought -I love the thought of Rob playing the “doting, blissfully bored boyfriend for his Kirs” *sigh*. Rest up because you know once the press junkets start, it will be overwhelming. Hey – I see that they officially announced the World Premier of BD1 in LA November 14. Are you really going to go? Whew! All those RobPiano pics are making me even more dizzy! Biggun’s homework – I’m so glad to see that you are as micromanaging as I was with Sonny Boy. It worked out pretty well for us – he got a nice scholarship. But I am REALLY looking forward to not being the homework monitor anymore. The pic you posted for Ginnie of Rob walking (harmlessly walking) – I was mesmerized for a while there and started to think about things I shouldn’t think about. By the way, the earthquake and hurricane WERE probably caused by the fact that you wore a dress to work yesterday. Stop doing that, OK?

Ginnie – Ooooh – You’re brave to challenge Caryn like that! I’m sure you two can share. LOVE the jumping Rob in the popcorn!! AND the jumping out of the cake was HILARIOUS.

NewJen – I hope you’ve enjoyed your birthday! I’m sorry to hear about your kitty cat. I guess it was time. She just couldn’t live up to that name any longer. Still, I know it is sad for you.

Annmarie
– I’m glad you’ve been having fun. You’re right, I don’t know anything about your football teams. I’m happy that you enjoy it so much, though. I’m sure you have lots of fellow fans to discuss with. About Will – of course we always are attracted to the unattainable. Just accept that fact, but at the same time, branch out and maybe get a new crush!

Amy
– Those are some of my favorite pics of Rob. Good taste, girl! The last one caught be by surprise and made me giggle!

Tonise
– The grammar lesson – I suppose it is the terms that they might get confused. I’m sure they know what a question and a statement are, but those are high level words they don’t come across in conversation.

Tracy – Sorry to be confusing about fixing my “bite”. The crowns have to stay put – the dentist just files them down. Actually, it was one of my “natural” teeth that was causing the problem, and actually, it’s not entirely fixed. I really don’t want to go back for a while, though. I learned today that our teeth move a lot naturally. Who knew? LOVE that Twilight/Piano gif!! He looks just so, so… beautiful.

Desiree
– Which class are you going to drop? That’s probably a good idea. It’s hard to write papers when you’ve got little ones under foot! Don't worry about being creative with ActionRob - just be natural! It's really not a contest. You've already posted enough if you're pressed for time. It shouldn't be stressful!

Nighty Night!
See you in a few days!!

Susie you are to kind. It's not stressful taking pictures of ActionRob just trying to be creative and funny. I talked to my english professor who I liked right away. She is awesome I spoke with her during my break telling her my situation and she couldn't belive I was trying to take 2 classes with everything I do. She was really honest with me she said I could take it as a pass or no credit where the grade won't count for my gpa but if I pass then I sill get the credit. She understood how I was trying to get my degree but she said if I can try not to rush and just take one class at a time. I will take the child dev for spring.
