Land Before Time made me cry! I loved Ferngully! I loved the fairy people, but the smog-guy scared me soo much! I still think of Ferngully when I'm at work and people are just wasting paper. I always say "Hello! Haven't you seen Ferngully, The Last Rainforest?! You're killing the trees!!"

Re: Favorite Childhood movies
all the Disney movies are a given (especially The Little Mermaid, Dumbo, Oliver & Company, and the Rescuers), but there were a number of "live action" movies that I loved as well:
The Goonies
Vice Versa
Mannequin
Spaceballs
Labyrinth (I was so in love with David Bowie)
and the one my mom hated the most was an animated film called Rock And Rule. I finally found it on DVD a few years ago and could not believe it.

Re: Favorite Childhood movies
Favorite of all time: The Swan Princess. Seriously, I wanted to marry Derek when I was little (before there was an Edward).
Others:
Thumbelina, even though the frogs and beetles scared me
Beauty and the Beast, because Belle was a brunette bookworm like me
Anastasia because every girl dreams she's a princess
