Plus, to be quite frank, Freema Agyeman is an awful actress.
I liked Martha but I think she would be better in Torchwood... but from what I heard she won't be returning at all. I think she's going to be in Law & Order: London.

At the end of series 4, it sure seemed like Martha and Mickey were heading to Torchwood ... but with the wacky seasons coming up—5 episodes of Torchwood in 5 days, Christmas specials of the Doctor and then nothing until 2010?—who knows what will happen.

My boyfriend likes to mention, every time he sees Martha, that she actually already died during the Cybermen invasion. Freema played some red-shirt character in Torchwood London. ;)

I forgot that was Freema~

I hope Mickie is part of Torchwood when it starts again. I've always thought he was so cute.

Supposedly, neither Freema or the gent who plays Mickey are in the third season of Torchwood ... but that's just the official word. Mickey's supposedly been seen on set ...

I do hope they're both in it. They need a doctor and I'm sure Mickey could figure out how to use a computer. Either that or Ianto can become a bigger part of the team and Mickey can make the coffee. ;)

*laughs* Mickey seems like he can handle a computer alright.

So out of curiousty, who is your dream Torchwood Team?

Ohhh or who would you LOVE to see as the Doctor's companion?

I would love to see Ross still alive *sigh.* Or Alonzo!! Or Sally Sparrow~

I'm ashamed to admit that I've not watched the older Doctors; I started with number nine. So I'm not sure who I'd bring back. Do you have any suggestions for where to start from the beginning? I'd love to get more of the Doctor's backstory.

As for a dream companion ... how about Alice Cullen? Now those two together ... ;)

*laughs* All those fols I mentioned were from the 10th Doctor. Ross was a really cute UNIT soldier who helped 10 during the Atmos thing. Sally Sparrow is the girl from Blink. Alonzo *dreamy sigh* is from the Christmas special where he's on the Titanic.

Hmm, I started watching the VERY first Doctor Who episodes which he kidnaps his first companions Ian and Barbara. They go back to the stone age. After that they meet Daleks! The stone age one is so-so but the Dalek episodes are wonderful! I actually end up buying The 5 Doctors. I think it's a great way to get a feel of 4 of the Doctors. (The 1 was replaced with a different actor since he passed way before it was made.)

Alice would be an amazing companion! I'm pretty sure the Doctor would give her a headache though. Carlisle is sort of my dream companion with the Doctor. Alien Doctor and Vampire Doctor! *giddy just thinking about it*

Oh my favorite show. I could talk about it forever. David is the best doctor, but I'm totally bummed there is such a long break now until they return.

I loved Rose. It broke my heart when she was put in the alternate universe. I really felt for the first time the doctor was in love. Then I thought they could never ever replace Rose.

Freema Agyeman is an awful actress. I felt Martha ruined the whole thing by falling all ga ga over the doctor from day one.

I also thought that no one could replace Rose, but Donna was perfect. The doctor's equal. I loved their banter. "no we aren't together." Silence in the Library was amazing. The ending was lame with Rose going with the other doctor look a like. But awesome he has a daughter. Bet she'll be back. Love her. I read David is dating her or was. :)

Agh, embarrassed over here. I guess I was paying too much attention to the Doctor to really have the side characters sink in.

Me too! And the weird 5-part miniseries thing Torchwood's got going on? Total bummer.

I didn't mind Martha so much, at least not after she did that whole soldier thing that no one remembers. Seemed to help her grow up a little. And, I definitely can't blame her for being "ga-ga" over the Doctor. ;)

I remember Martha as the soldier, coming out of the water. All ready for battle. I think I was too in love with the whole Rose and Dr. thing going on and I came into it when we had the 9th doctor for the one season. Was shocked he left (but glad) and once David was on I was OH YEAH BABY LOL There are a few of his movie on you tube you can watch. He's awesome.

Anyway, when Martha came on I was all give back Rose. I was so heart broken when she was stuck behind the wall. I actualy cried. :(

Yeah I heard David might appear on the Sarah Jane Adventures as a surprise guest, but I'm betting that's wishful thinking. He's doing a play. Lucky those in England that can go see it!
