Hello Jacob Lovers!

I have to say, I am still very disappointed that Taylor Launter will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon. I am sure there are many that would disagree with me, but hear me out. I hoped Taylor would have of been replaced for the simple (obvious) reason of him not looking like a full grown man. I loved Taylor in Twilight. He looked and played the part perfect, but come on.....you can not really make a freshman look like an adult in a few months. He just doesn’t have Werewolf potential. And so.....This is why I am disappointed Taylor is still casted. Jacob is my most favorite character in the stories. I feel in love with him early on in Twilight. And to think that Jacob will not be portrayed properly as a grown, handsome, muscular man is so disappointing. I think the casting has been wrong since the first casting of Twilight. As a fan of the books I thought we would have a handsome "perfect" guy to play Edward. I can go on and on about other casting characters for the movie, but my most important casting choice for Jacob is not Taylor. I thought, with a new director he would see all the wrongs from Twilight and try to improve them in the next movie. I guess it is true what they say, the book is always better than the movie.

What are your thoughts on this?

TAYCOB is short for TAYLOR + JACOB!! As a matter of fact a bunch of us here campaigned for Taylor to stay as Jacob. He's ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for the role. He's got the smile, the charisma, the attitude and the look!
I don't think Jacob should look older than Taylor does. The character is the youngest in the book aside from Seth.

Sorry but I think you're outnumbered. As for the muscles, you obviously haven't seen a picture of Taylor lately.

And I should warn you, if you don't like Rob Pattinson for Edward, DO NOT venture into the Rob thread. They'll eat you alive.
