I've never seen any of her work, but i'm not sure she's the "breathtaking" Esme I thought her to be.
Same with Rosalie, She's just not the prettiest person out there. I pictured Nicole Kidman. . . .

(you'd think they'd have died Liz's hair Blond like everybody else's)

I think that Liz Reaser would make a good Esme. I've seen some of her acting skills in the new TV show "The Ex list" and I think she does a good job in that. Im sure she can be flexible with the role she will be playing for this movie. I think in the ex list she is more funny. But thats what actors are for..being flexible is just something they learn to do. But i am happy she is playing Esme. She is very beautiful I think.

I can't put my finger on it, but I don't love her as Esme. I'm not against it, I just don't love it. Bella says she had the look of an ingenue from the silent movie era, or that she was sort of the embodiment of Snow White. Liz is a great actress but she wasn't what I pictured.

On the other hand, I love this story so much that I care more about how they act rather than look, so I am really open to all of the casting. (Only truly hesitant about Rose...)

i think she will make a good esme but, i dont know if its just me, she really looks like a man dressed as a women.
She has a funky face, it's very rectangular and manly. She also talks a bit funny, like out of a corner of her mouth. I don't find her physically atractive at all. I don't find her pretty, she is just too weird!

Right, well I'm not trying to be mean but her eyes are way to close together. I'm sorry I just don't think she's beautiful. She was the only one that was cast that I was mad about.

Her hair is caramel colored in the book, why would they have dyed it blonde? I think she was perfect for Esme and the film needed more experienced actors/actresses like herself.

In my opinion, she was amazing!!! even though the roll wasn't huge, she still portrayed the character really well

I thought Liz was great! She really showed how Esme is the mother of the group. I loved it when she told Rosalie to clean up the mess in the kitchen. She was so sweet, I just wanted to give her a hug!

I liked that part too... "Clean this up... now..."

My favorite Esme part was "she thinks we cheat" and then she responds "i KNOW you cheat"... hahaha. :)
