I ducked a flying bucket of water. "Oi!!!" I yelled at who ever threw it, then dove behind Gio. "You're my meat shield!" I told him when he gave me a funny look.
I gestured to the table of food and fixin's for Syd. "They're all out there, dear. Just grab what you want... Speaking of which, I haven't had my steak yet." I ran over, grabbed a big juicy bloody hunk of steak, then sat on the hood of my Rabbit to eat it. Hot dang, but Gio was an amazing griller... Probably better than me, which was hard to beat. So far, so fun?

Yelling from across the street so as to avoid suds and flying water:
"Hi guys! I came back to see if the jello was out yet. You all look so cute all wet and soapy!"

Runs over and grabs another lemonade and desert.

"Can't stay long because the kiddos will need feeding again - funny how they are like that - but I just wanted to drop by and compliment you on the yummy food," takes a huge bite, "amd de great parfy." Gulp. Licks sticky lips.

I set the last stuff out on the table. I'm sure Lidia could take over if they ran out. I went to find Tilly, thanking her for inviting me, and waved goodbye to everyone as I headed to my pickup.

They did a wonderful job... I waved one last time before pulling out and heading home.

I waved at Naureen and Derek from the grill. I was making myself a bacon burger covered with bacon salt (tru fax! I have bacon salt.), just because bacon is beautiful. "Hey Naureen, I have a burning question to ask you," I asked, "Who is the man in your banner??? Because A. he's kinda cute, and B. because he looks like a cross between William Beckett and Patrick Stump to me." Seriously, he did. Bill's face with Patrick's chubbiness. Yes, I'm weird.
