Anyone can reply to my previous question, but I wanted to share this: it seems that Renesmee is a real name, and a few girls have been name Renesmee from birth since the fall of 2008: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renesmee_(name)

haha really? that sounds awesome, but kind of weird. I don't like the name Renesmee so much but apperntly some people do.

Music type~ I think she'd like classical music but modern music as well. I think she'd love every kind of music, actually, because she is very openminded.

Can anyone maybe think of Renesmee dressing up like an emo/punk rocker, even if it's for Halloween, or would she be into that type of music of have friends like that?

haha yeah. This is really funny. But who would name their baby girl Renesmee? It's a horrible name -shudder*

I can. We picture Nessie as a pinky girlie girl because she is always happy and cheery. But it has nothing to do with what she'll be when she grow up. She could be a rocker/emo, she could be little miss sunshine or she could even be Hannah Montana kind of girl. We can't know.

2) Nessie is a version of Nessa, which is a real name.

3) We discussed, a while back, mature t(w)eens who read mature books. I'd like to post a rant about this subject, which is made by Kristin Cashore, a YA author of two brilliant books, Graceling and Fire. Please, please read this. She hits the nail on the head, and says it perfectly.

Wow! Parents naming their child Renesmee? Poor child!! It works in fiction but not has real name!! (I like SM's explanation of her choice for that name on her website. It works & make sense.) When that child is older & asks about the orgin (or is asked by someone) & has to explain it came from Twilight people are going to think their parents are nuts!!

If Renesmee was a punk rocker/emo chick (fashion only), what do you think she'll look like?

Also, in the Netherlands, there's a town called Renesse. Drop one of the S's and add a M and an E, what do you get? Renesmee.

Ok, now a bit of a serious question. If Renesmee was/is famous when she's fully grown, how do you think she'll handle the paps and the tabloid blogs and rag magazines? I'm asking this because for the Twilight cast (and not just Kristen and Rob), these people seem to be becoming a serious problem. Just read the story about Kellan's run-in with an infamous pap (who also hired a helicopter to buzz the Eclipse re-shoot and works for Lainey Gossip, among other things), as well as Kristen and Rob nearly getting into a car accident because of the paps.

How would Nessie handle such things, or would her being a vampire hybrid discourage such people from doing such things?
