Thanks for caring for the TwiGuys!

You're rank is the bit below your screen name, in your case the bit that says 'Settled in Forks'. As you post more, it will change. Some people have their own special rank.trhmllr wrote:I am new to all of this...what exactly is a rank and/or special title? What does it mean?
Thanks!
2. Ranks
Ranks are titles under your avatar. The first one is Settled in Forks and they change as your post count increases (Here’s where the above rule to not post just for your rank to change comes in). There are also Special Ranks awarded to Lexiconers who have stood out in some positive aspect (like mine--I'm special *teehee*). Don’t ask for a Special Rank; you won’t get it and you’ll just annoy Pel and Alphie.
Once you have the normal ranks up do you think you may be adding to them or making changes to the special ranks? Most of the special ranks I've seen are one-of-a-kind except for the Twilight Guys which are deservingly in a special group of their own. How do you usually come up with the special ranks? I didn't ask on the old Lex, but I've always been curious.Pel wrote:Yep! We are currently working on it. Give us a couple of days and it will be back.dragon-girl wrote:Adding to Ren's post, sort of:
Could you post the list of normal ranks, like you had up on the old forum?
It usually has something to do with what ever you posted or did that caught the administrators attention in the first place. For instance Ambereyes rank is "Cullen Endurance Specialist" because she was apart of the great Spoodurence trials on the Vampire Mating Thread. They are usually goofy reminders of your creative posting on the boards. Another example would be a user last year who when everyone was bashing Mike Newton, she stood up for him and praised him (This was pre-Michael Welch so Mike was liked very much.) She was given the rank of "Mike's Fiance". Every person who has a special rank has a story behind it. (You should PM them and ask, they are usually fun stories.)Elizabeth wrote: How do you usually come up with the special ranks? I didn't ask on the old Lex, but I've always been curious.
Thanks Cocoa. I thought that to be the case, but I'm glad you cleared it up.Cocoa wrote:It usually has something to do with what ever you posted or did that caught the administrators attention in the first place.
