Alright.
Umm do we need names
Cause I really don't want to put for example Major Layla_Hale
or Privet *Aros_girl*
Like I know that is not the real thing but yea

So any idea's on that would be great
And Lets refer from the last name Hale
Please that would just be confusing to no end

In a previous post, Nena suggested that everyone should start out as a 2nd Lieutenant, which I think is a great idea. But perhaps everyone should begin as a Private, and after they make 2 or 3 posts (or contribute to the discussion in some way) they should then become 2nd Lieutenant, and so on. What's everyone's opinions on this?

I like that idea, but wouldn't it be hard to keep track of peoples posts?

Oh, right. Silly me.

I had a quick look around (good ol' wiki), and this is what I've found:

(from lowest to highest)

-Private
-Corporal
-Sergeant
-Sergeant Major
-Lieutenant
-Captain
-Major

(and more after that)

Now, because the 4 'mods' of this thread have the titles of Major, Sergeant Major of the Army, Command Sergeant Major, and Sergeant Major, we'll have to change the ranks a bit, I think.

Perhaps, If the ranks go as so (from lowest to highest):

-Private
-1st Corporal
-2nd Corporal
-1st Sergeant
-2nd Sergeant
-3rd Sergeant
-Lieutenant
-Captain

Or something like that, ommitting the Major and Sergeant Major ranks.

Maybe not, if everyone has their rank in their sig (all the same colours, except for the mods), and I think if we organise this well enough the mods will be able to keep track of everyone.

Okay, I realise the ranks I listed above are kind of complicated, so we will probably cut back on those/simplify those a bit.

Ok all, Here is the official announcement that you all have been waiting *drum roll please*

The confederate Army has spoken and here is Team Jasper's leadership:



All Majors: Will be in charge of the organizing subjects of conversation, slogans, logos, etc (aka Command center).

Sergeant Major of the Army (*Aros_girl*) Will be in charge of the creation and maintenance of the website, ranks and memberships (aka record keeper).

Command Sergeant Major(Layla_Hale) Will be in charge of keeping the thread in topic, will provide accurate information from the PC's, books, etc, when necessary (aka Topic expert).


Sergeant Major (redlips) Will provide discussion topics, recommend members for ranking advance and will help with new recruits (aka welcome committee/New member training specialist).


Besides their specific jobs, the majors will be in charge of recruiting, bootcamp for newbies and new member commitment, Under Jasper's orders they will make sure that everyone feels welcome and part of the group. It may be difficult all the new members to understand the mission of this army and how to advance in the rankings, so the Majors will encourage them to stay in the thread so they can be recommended for advance. They will also follow up with visitors every now and then.. you know, just the casual pm, inviting them to keep participating in the thread, etc.

I am very excited to give this thread such a great leadership team. Their action plans were very well thought out and I was very impressed with all their ideas.

I know there's still a lot to talk about (ranks, how to advance in the ranking system, Army names, etc), but be confident that the four majors will figure it out, remember this Army is brand new, so it may take some time to set up but if you have any ideas, feel free to pm any of the majors or myself. Even though we have people in charge of the thread, the thread is still for everybody to enjoy and to gush our love for Major Jasper
