Yeah, having connections at a bookstore is majorly beneficial.

The book is taking a huge emotional toll on me. I'm exhausted.

working in a bookstore is not all it's cracked up to be. They pay terrible wages, but usually you get good discounts. Not even wortt the advanced reading copy you might get. I got Ethan Hawks book and it was HORRIBLE and self indulgent. excuse me while I barf.
