But it hasn't come yet!!
Why must it be shipped from NY? Why is it even taking so long?!

My dad got an e-mail saying the ARC should be coming by this friday. Ugh, the wait!

I finally got a hold of a copy of The Hunger Games from the library a couple of weeks ago and I loved it. I'm glad there is a thread here so I can share that with other lovers. I could not put that book down once I started - I had to force myself to go to bed some nights.

I can't wait for CF only a a month and some days, what a great way to start September this year.
I'm also glad Lionsgate picked it up to make into a movie. Usually I'm very wary of book to movie adaptations, but I read Collins will be adapting her book into the script - not a screenwriter. That gives me hope that the movie will be good and keep the important stuff in. Or atleast I'll respect the movie version knowing it is a product of the original story's creator.

I need to get my Hunger Games book back from my friends that are passing it around. I want to re-read it before CF comes out!! Can't wait for Sept 1!!!

I haven't been on this thread for a while. Have you guys talked about casting choices from the movie?

There's a few people on Youtube talking about it. What do you think about Jack Nicholson for Haymitch? I really like this idea, but is he too old? Can't remember how old he's supposed to be.

I'm really not sure who I like for Katniss, some people say Camilla Bell but I'm not sure.
