The British Thread
Re: The British Thread
^ Definately! I hated waiting for the second series of Brothers & Sisters. I ended up youtubing Scotty and Kevin's wedding because that's how desperate I was to see it (coz I have no life like that )! My friend gets so fed up waiting for Lost she downloads them but I can't do that myself.

Re: The British Thread
OOH. I wasn't aware the books came out later there. That is annoying. =[ They probably had to do revisions on the British version with spelling and such, but I don't get why it would have to come out later?Doodle wrote:From a business side it is fair I suppose, but from a reader's side it isn't. I know it has a bigger following in the US, but it has fans all over the world and whilst it is american we all love it regardless. Fans should be taken into account (however like I will boycott it, I'm too curious to see how Robert is as Edward).
My problem with the release dates was mainly with releasing Breaking Dawn 3-4 days after the American release, rather than Twilight the film, as they do that with alot of films. But I don't see why it should happen with the books. The internet becomes a mass of spoilers and I came across Nessie accidently before I got the book. But meh, I can't do nothing about it. They have their reasons I suppose.

I don't get it either, and it isn't because of spelling. Favourite and colour are spelt favorite and color in ours as well. I noticed it the other day.

Re: The British Thread
Isn't that because we get the American books..... most don't have the publishers in Britain as well as America so we get the same ones.....Doodle wrote:I don't get it either, and it isn't because of spelling. It happens with a lot of writers.
