yer i live near several beaches, i went to seaton today which is the closest.... only 30mins
then theres the headland which is 5mins walk down the coast from seaton....... then saltburn... redcar... peterlee
whitby is an 1hr away so we only go on special occasions

That's pretty cool. But I suppose that's what you get with the UK being an island.

I'm pretty inland, it would take hours to get to a beach ... not even a decent beach. Sand (grey), sea (icy cold) and sun (no way)

whitby is a pretty famous place, with the abbey and such
im sure it has something to do with dracula aswell

The Lucky Duck Shop is a glass shop in whitby which is quite well known up here anyway
It sells ducks (if you hadnt already guessed) but there different ones for different birth months etc.
