@eddie, thats just wonderfull, i wouldnt change a thing.

@cappu, im sorry for you sister, breakups are never fun.
dont you worry about you and your hubby, live live to the fullest and enjoy every day. You cant see into the future so stop worrying about it. Appreciate what is there. Look, me and my ex were the 'perfect couple' for the outside. I would neevr have thought we would break up either. But we did, and well, now i can say im glad about it, cause what i have now is so much better. So you see, breaking up can have its reasons, and you can be even happier after it. But stop worrying so much, because if you worry to much, youll focus on the negative and thats never good in a relatioship. Try to enjoy what you have, and just let life lead you to where you are supposed to go.

He has special food, and 2 kinds of medicine, but hes home :)
He's pretty quiet, but he also cuddled already, so i guess he just has to rest a lill. He was very quiet at the vet and has been there for 4 days so he needs to adjust himself again. He peed when we drove home, so that seems to work fine :)
I also bought special food for his brother, so he wont ever have to got through this.
After a month we have to test his urnine and when everything is fine, hell get other food(the one his brother has now). Im so glad he's home!

Weekend was so frikkin hectic for me. Our training was done but it leaves me a lot of work to do. I have to study again this stuffs *urgh* It's Monday, I so hate Mondays, but now a bit's different. I watched the Oscar's this morning, got to see ROB!! yeah of course he's hot but when he's doing his thing, he seemed so nervous and all that..but I love what he says like I had to turn into vampire to meet a girl, something like that! that was funny! :)

Megan, hope your doing good with the shoulder-thing! *hugss*

Pharmer, ask your wife to join in here! It would be fun though! and love the tatts! :)

I do understand what you have said here. Maybe I'm just like having mixed reactions with how the movies are going to be presented..

Thanks Ninna, SarahG, Janny! Misty is great, she made three banners so yeah I'm thinking of interchanging them every weeks so that I can show off that banners! :D

Maria! that's cool seeing Twilight again on the big screen. After seeing them in November, I searched for a very good torrent of the film, and luckily I found good one. It's a cam version still but it's the most "viewable" that I downloaded, so like everytime I need some Edward-comfort, I just play it here! :)

Becca, Happy New iPod for you! I missed my iPod, I lost mine so yeah that's stupid right, and I'm not getting one soon cos I have to punish myself for being so clumsy all the time.

Janny, I saw all your tatts! they're hot really! I love the dragon thing! :) and good thing Loka's home now, I knew it he will be getting good soon, so don't worry now okay? :)

Hello Buffygrl, how are you doing? Hope Cody is well too! oh valentine's day? Lexily did the Speak in Third Person Day, it was fun! :)

EDDIE, that was great seriously, I even sang it while reading !! lolz!

See yah guys later!! Hello to everyone here! :)

I must make a confession. J and I have been watching a great animal documentary series on TV, but last night we watched the Pacific NorthWest episode, about the bears and salmon, and all I could think was "hmmm, so that's how the Grizzlies Emmett eats act in the wild". *shakes head, rolls eyes*
I'm so glad I can share this with you guys, everyone else would think I'm weird (or weirder than they already think). That was all for my Monday confessions :D lol
Will be back when I finish this project for work, hopefully by dinner time if I keep myself out of here

'morning you all, how's my Lexily? Hope you all had a great w-e ;)

Just stopping by to say hi to you all, haven't been in a very talkative/posting mood for the past few days, not much to say I guess: had a lovely Friday night with (the few that managed to come) highschool mates and yesterday had a walk at the seaside+huge darkchocolate&orange icecream+movie with 2 friends :) that helped to feel a little better since I had a bad news about my fathers health last week (and this after months we hadnt talked to each other, we've had a difficult relationship since my parents separation) and I really ...dont know how I feel..

Well anyway dont really mean to annoy and bore my dear Lexilings with my whining! On a very lighter and MUCH more pleasent note, on saturday night I booked my Twilight-3 DVD edition on the internet, which won't be released before April 1st though: first time I buy online, fingers crossed!

Well wish you all a good working/studying/ job searching (best luck there!) week and btw, Honey love your new banner, great job as always Misty ;)

Oh forgot to say: looking GOOD our vamp-oscar- presenter! :D

Hello my lovely lexily. :) We seem to all be very quiet at the moment? I wonder what's happened. :)

Eddie, I love that idea for the improv. I was doing that annoying thing while I was reading it though, where I kept trying to sing the song, but I couldn't remember the tune, and the more I tried to remember the worse it got. So I had to go listen to it on Youtube so I could get the picture properly.

Maria, I'm really sorry to hear about your sister. That's a really hard situation to be in, but try not to worry too much. I have that problem in relationships that I worry so much about it not working out that I almost cause it to happen so that at least I don't have to keep worrying about it. If that makes sense. I guess I just mean that Jasmine is right. In relationships it is very easy to make something a self fulfilling prophecy. Good luck with everything, and I hope it works out for your sister.

On tattoos, I definitely don't have any myself. The most adventurous I've been is getting my navel pierced when I was nineteen and I took it out a couple of years ago. And man, I am such a wuss about pain, that was the most excrutiating thing I've ever done. I would never last through getting a tattoo. :) So I'm not risking it.

I actually lived in Ireland for most of my life near Galway, where the Claddagh ring originated. I used to have one from there. I think it's such a beautiful idea. The idea of love, loyalty and friendship being the basic tenets of relationships just seems right to me.

Hey SarahG, actually if I'm honest, I don't really like the film version of Twilight either. I'm going to be a bit braver though and say my reasons out loud, just to get a conversation going. I am hiding behind some furniture while I say it though. :D I mean, there are things about the movie that I love. Like, I always can't wait for the prom (mostly because I LOVE that Iron and Wine song), I love the baseball scene (particularly the bat twirling, and "Well I think we can handle that."), and I quite like the scene in the Cullens kitchen. There are other parts of it that I like, but there are also other parts I hated. I don't like a lot of the start of the movie. I agree with Maria that it always feels stiff to me, and I HATE the part where Bella confronts him about being a vampire. I have to block my ears so I don't have to listen to the mortifying "You're like my own personal brand of heroin", and the awful "To the top of the mountain. Out of the cloud bank. You have to see what I look like in the sunlight." Seriously WTF? I also don't really like the way they had Jackson Rathbone play Jasper. (I maintain it wasn't his fault) Although, lets face it, I love the character of Jasper, and I'd basically watch Jackson lick stamps for two hours so this wasn't a big deal for me.

Anyway, I just realised that we haven't had a real honest throwdown convo about what everyone thought of it. (Or at least not since I joined). So what did everyone honestly think? What did you hate? What did you love? Are you glad Chris is directing now instead of Catherine Hardwicke? How much do you think was not as good as it could have been due to lack of budget?

I'm sure I'll remember some of my other opinions about it before tomorrow anyway, and I'll add. :)

Oh, and I went to my cousins party on Saturday night. The one in the empty pool. I didn't get a costume in the end what with being sick and all for the week, but I didn't want to miss it. It was awesome! I'll post some photos and video up tomorrow. The place looked amazing. They painted all the walls of the pool with like, Nemo and sharks and other underwater stuff, and had a huge DJ table and screens and stuff. It was indescribable. Mind you, I got a little maudlin in the end what with the drinking and the crazy couple of weeks I've had and ended up a sobbing puddle, but it was still a cool party. :)

Talk to you guys tomorrow (it's like 1am Monday night here in Aus), hopefully more people will be around. We're all being a bit stealth. 8-)

Oh and hi to everyone else. Hope your road trip's going good Sami. I'll write more messages to everyone tomorrow.

*Throws shoe at tabs*

Surely if we can talk religion without killing each other, we can discuss the Twilight movie...looks around...errr maybe not...

First let me say: It was better the second time I watched it:

I'm still puzzled how SM went to a private viewing with a notebook in hand to write changes she would like made and left with nothing...

I would change:
Edwards reaction to Bella the first time in biology...he would not have covered his nose...he would have simply stopped breathing.
Too many close-up shots for my taste
Would have kept it a little truer to the book...more love story, less showing the bad vamps (even though I did like them...I think it detracted from the love story too much)
I guess thats my #1 concern, they didnt show the love between B&E enough

Parts I liked:
the little flashblack thing when E sucks out Bs blood
JB @ prom
JB: I think Tyler nailed the character
Jessica Stanley: that girl was so spot on lol...I loved the boob scene in the dress HS girl!
kiss scene...did I say that already??
baseball (especially the look between Rose and Bella) and when carlise says "Nice Kitty"
And the part where Alice rips off James' head :P

Yea! I'm glad your baby is home!

@tabs, about the movie, well, ive seen it once without reading the books and once after reading them. and theres a big difference.
First time:
I liked the beginning, where bella is narrator and you see her moving to forks, although the scenes with charlie before se got to school were maybe a bit short. Also it was a bit weird why she was so happy with that old car, nothing is explained about that. At school it was really weird how ppl reacted to her, like Tyler already telling shes his girl and such, it was way too much without explaining. There were just to many scenes that needed explanation if you hadnt read the books. And the relationship between bella and edward is really really weird. no i dont like, oh wait i love you. WHAT the...? The characters seemed weird, especially edward and jasper. I didnt understand their looks at all or some scenes they did. We laughed a lot. . The baseball scene was kind of nice, i loved what jasper did with the bat, and alice is kewl as a pitcher. But also, the special effects were so bad. The climbing in the tree looked very weird, and him showing hes a vampire looked just..i dunno....bad. It didnt really look natural to the character. And ofcourse the meadow scene. Well, we laughed...hard..and a lot. Weve talked for days about vampires who glitter like a discoball, 'oh wait its tinkerbell'', etc, it was so badly done, and it so didnt fit if you watched a lot of vampiremovies. OVerall, it just really looked like crap, bad storyline and seemed like someone tried to cram 3 books in 1,5 hour, end ended up with a story that seemed to miss scenes and timelapses.
(but, i thought there must be more to the story, and ppl have f**ked up great books before (like queen of the damned) so i wanted to read the book. After a week of thinking about it, i bought the first. I devoured that one and bought the rest a few das later)

Second time i watched (have to say this was a camversion though):
I couldnt wait for the cullens to come into view, because i loved their characters after reading about them. I like subtle jokes like the scene where they do the front of the book. I understand scenes now where you see edward looking in a strange way (reading minds), and what he is thinking. Why the guys in the school behave that way(although i still think there isnt enough time lapse.). What everybody thinks and feels with every scene. (which explains SO MUCH). I still think the time they have to fall in love in is way to short, it should have evolved slowly, now it was like, you blinked and suddenly they were in love.(and that way it doesnt feel or look like the deep bond they have, maing the rest of the stpory unbelievable, especially new moon) I didnt like the way they gave the other vampires a bigger part, and the murders in town. I especially didnt like victoria at the end of the movie, she could have been in it, but not that close. I would have liked to see alice going all bella barbie before the dance, the dance could have had a bigger part, where you could have seen the rest of the cullens, i missed that. Overall, i still think the movie missed a lot of explanation, and some things happened way to soon, and the new scenes werent needed in my opinion.
But, i loved seeing the book come to life, and i cant wait for the next one (although i have lots of horrormovies in my head about what they will do with the bdayparty or with the shapeshifting, or with the scenes in volterra. But still, it will be an addition to the movie, and i cant have enough of those.)

hmm Odin is hissing and growling at Loki :( . Apparantly, after 4 days, you cant remember your borther/best friend as a cat. I hope they will be friends again soon, cause this isnt fun. Loki had been next to me on the couch for hours, cuddling, purring and sleeping. Im so glad hes back :)
It will be sooo much fun (sarcasm) when we have to give him his medicines.

Jasmine~ I was wondering if ppl that watched before reading the books would 'get' it...I didn't think they would have...

As for Loki...Mine took a couple of days to stop hissing at each other...I think it's the smells...Furio seemed petrified that we had taken Kenobi to some freaky alien place and he was about to be taken was as if he was saying, "stay away from me...I don't want what you got!"

Movie discussion...
Ninna disliked:
-the "lets run up the mountain, you gotta watch me sparkle in the sun..."
-how Bella abandoned the girls while dress shopping.
-that Alice is more beautiful than Rosalie
-the change of "I'm not afraid of you -you really shouldn't have said that" (in the book E jumps Bella while snarling, and Alice+Jasper comes in wondering if they get to share too...
-Bella's sarcasm (or lack there of really)
-in the book, all cars in the school lot was as old as Bella's...
-basically all Bella/Edward convo's felt 'plastic'...

Ninna loved:
-Charlie with the gun "bring him in..."
-Jacob (duh!)
-the Bella/Jacob convo's, they felt warm
-Renee "Are you being safe?"
-Billy chasing Charlie with the wheelchair
-SM's appearance!
-Bella's clothing style (it's different from the books!)

i just watched the short version of the oscars, since it was like at 4 in the night or something.
Anyway, i didnt see robert pattinson giving an award, but i did see him sitting behind mickey rourke. And hubby said ''omg he really looks like that, hahaha'

*sigh* we are trying ti give our 2 male cats their new food seperately. Only after a month they can have the same. But loki tries to run to odins food, just because..well its odins, hehe. Odin still isnt happy, but hopefully thatll change soon, since they both will sleep on the bed tonight.
