To o the mornin' to ya!!! Yep, just a little late, but it's a beautiful morning here in the midwest and I just couldn't help it. Looks like it was a quiet night, but I don't ever like to miss my morning post. Especially today, as I'm fairly sure that, between the MTV FirstStream and the Leno appearance, it's going to be epic.

Ahh, Leno 2010. The memories... Ugh!! I can't believe I'm likely going to miss the LiveStream, as I'll be on the road to Cincinnatti. But, thank the gods for the internet and YT. I don't plan to miss a bit of it. And then there's Leno! YAY!

Marielle~ Yep, the monkey usually keeps us hopping, that's for sure. We average about three tourneys per season, but the weekends he doesn't have tourneys, there's usually at least one if not two games. I honestly wouldn't change it though, as nuts as it makes my life. I love being able to follow both my boys around to the things they love to do.

Alright, off to do work type things. Laters!

It's FRIDAY!! :D Woohoo!!

Rob's happy it's the weekend too!!

The city where I work was sooo sunny and bright today! A lovely blue sky, and looking very much like spring/summer (but still kinda chilly). It really made me want to come home and head to a beer garden or something Haha! The town where I live is a bit duller though, but still pretty nice. It's supposed to be a nice weekend, weather wise :)

Tomorrow night my mom and dad are coming over, and we are cooking them a big meal to say thanks for being lovely parents! Only thing is we are making 3 courses that we have never made before, so it will either be really good, or a total disaster LOL! We are going shopping tonight to get everything we need; I'm quite looking forward to it. Wish us luck with the cooking!

Susie - I think that's really weird how teachers in the US can take holidays outwidth the school year holidays. You can't do that here at all. Do you get a holiday allowance for holidays outside school holidays, or does it normally just happen for special occassions? Do you and SonnyBoy have any plans for spring break?
Btw, I started reading WfE last night (just the first couple chapters) and so far, I like it. I think I will enjoy it quite a lot!

Jade - Sorry to hear you lost a few family and friends :( Was that due to the earthquake? It's really horrible :(
Yay for going on holiday! I go on holiday in July and I am very much looking forward to it!! Should be really good fun :)
Oh and also a little welcome back gift!

missp - Happy birthday to your dad!! I hope you and your family have a great night celebrating :)

Caryn - Yay for Butler! Ok I have a stupid question, but I get confused with some of the sport stuff...this is football yeah? Is it "soccer" or "American football"? LOL!

Marielle - Yep I am indeed very happy that it is the weekend! It looks like it might even be a (fairly) dry one here, so that will be nice. I really need to get into the garden and start weeding, but I don't think the ground will be dry enough yet to do that...
Hugh Grant I think is kinda cool. I think he is really funny the way he speaks, especially in Bridget Jones. Not his accent, just the way he says stuff (if that makes any sense?? LOL). I really like Colin Firth tho *swoons* I think it's really funny as Bridget (in the books) LOVES Colin Firth, and then they cast him to play Mark Darcy! Have you ever read the books?

Rob's interview on Jay Leno is tonight isn't it? I hope someone uploads it quickly so I can watch it - it's been a while since we had a new tv interview! Yay!

Well I'm gonna head off to check a few things before dinner but first: a lovely wee image to leave you with for the weekend

Oh, and speaking of Rob's hands (see above pic!), ROBsessed has a gif on some FingerPorn *EXPLODES*

Hi All!

Susie's is acting a bit strange lately - two consecutive days without a mega post!

Today I had an all day staff meeting and then even though I had brought my laptop to circus, for some reason, I couldn't get online! Then when I got home finally at 7:30 I thought I should have quality time with Hubs. Now I'm just too tuckered out to do a decent post. Plus I'm being pulled away to watch Leno now. Good thing I happened to be checking the thread at the right moment and was reminded of it. He's on now!!!! Just in time.

OK just saw the opening segment - I forgot how gorgeous he is ...when he is talking......such a beautiful face in motion - better than the stills! He looks a bit shy about the fans screaming in audience. I love his blue (silk?) suite with brown shirt - very classy. He looks especially slim next to Jay. I'm going to log off now!

I'll catch up tomorrow!

Nighty Night!

Hello ladies! Hope everyone's had a lovely start to their weekend.

I haven't been home long, and was able to finally see The King's Speech at the theatre with a coworker tonight. It was wonderful, and I absolutely loved Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, and Helena Bonham Carter's performances. For you Harry Potter fans out there....even Dumbledore and Wormtail made brief appearances in the movie. :D

But equally as good as the movie—was the fact that the first preview shown was for Water for Elephants! :swoon: My friend and I were excited and thought the movie looked amazing, and of course Robkowski looked gorgeous on that big screen. My friend (who is a Twi-fan, but not nearly as obsessed as myself) said she hasn't looked forward to a movie's release this much since Twilight.

I'm enjoying a bit of quiet Lexing time to myself tonight. Hubs and the kids drove to his parents in East Tennessee last night. I'm riding up that way with some close friends tomorrow morning, and our families are staying in a chalet in the Smoky Mountains for a couple of days. It should be relaxing and a good time, but I will miss my girls here at the “House”, as well as my Robcrack. ;)

Marielle~ Loved your wild Halfway House dream, and am flattered that we were so well represented.

Lulu~ I hope your friend decides to give WFE a try. I've actually just lent my first copy of WFE for the third time, to another co-worker. I just knew there was a reason I felt compelled to buy a second copy of WFE, with the beautiful cover photo of Robkowski and Marlena (I hope to read it one more time before April 22nd).

Jade~ I'm sorry for your loss of certain family members and friends. As Jaclyn asked, was this related to the earthquake? I hope you have a great time on your upcoming holiday.

Caryn~ You're absolutely right about the character of August—I think Christoph Waltz was a brilliant choice, and he'll convey just the right mix of charming, handsome, and extremely dangerous, at the same time. Way to get into the St. Patty's Day spirit with your green font yesterday, and especially Leprochan Rob. Good luck to your Butler Bulldogs Saturday! Thanks for your condolences about Vandy's loss. I'm just so frustrated with them. :? This is the third time in four years they've been “upset” in the first round, to a significantly lower seed. We actually had much better luck in the tourney about six or seven years ago as a lower seed, when we unexpectedly made it to the Sweet 16 in consecutive years. Maybe Vandy is just better as an underdog. Be safe on your trip to Cincinnati.

Jaclyn~ I loved Colin Firth and Hugh Grant in both Bridget Jones movies too. Something about Hugh Grant makes me laugh too, especially when he acts a little awkward and goofy; I absolutely loved him in Nottinghill. I'm excited that you've started reading Water for Elephants.....we can't wait to hear your thoughts. It' seems like there has been beautiful weather almost everywhere the past day or so. I think Mother Nature is trying to remind us that Spring really is on the way. Hope you had a nice time cooking for your parents, and let us know how your new recipes turned out.

Susie~ I appreciate your support for my team, but I'm so sorry you put Vandy in the final four of your bracket at work. Had I known ahead of time, I would have warned you not to pick them too far ;) (as they've lost in the first round of the tourney the past couple of years). But that's part of what makes filling out those brackets so much fun.....you win some, and you lose some. I hope you enjoy your week off work during Sonny Boy's Spring Break. Any big plans for you or the family? Does your hubby have any days off work yet? I certainly hope we see at least a bit of Robward's “full booty” in Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Part 2. 8-) Thanks for reminding us about Rob's Leno appearance. The DVR is recording as we speak, and I'll check it out in a bit. Did anyone see his appearance on MTV tonight? Or was he only on MTV.com? We're happy to see you whether you leave us with a megapost, or a minipost. Sometimes making megaposts can be a little exhausting. ;)

Missp~ Hope your Dad has a wonderful birthday, and I'm sure your family will have a great time celebrating this weekend. How is American Idol this season? This is the first time I haven't watched it in five or six seasons, but I just couldn't muster up the enthusiasm after all the changes with the judges. :?

Raine~ We'll keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers for good test results for your mom.

Jenn Jenn~ Hope your day improved.

Hello Ladies! It's been since last weekend that I checked in, so I thought I better pop by.

This week was LittleLady's Spring Break. We kept ourselves busy right here at home and today was no exception. I dropped LilRob at pre-school this morning, stopped by Starbucks on my way home, posted a new chapter of my fanfic, wrote 3-400 words of the next chapter, paid all bills due through the end of the month, made hotel reservations for Saturday night near LittleLady's weekend-long dance convention. Then I woke up Hubby, drug Hubby into the shower, pushed Hubby & LittleLady out the door to go the rifle range to learn to shoot Hubby's newest firearm. (His idea not mine. Which makes me wonder why I had to push him out the door. ) Anyway, I was horrible with the new gun and could barely hit the target, but my daughter... Holy cow, my ten year old drew a crowd because she was so good! Literally, grown men were coming down to watch her shoot because every shot she took either hit, or was just a few inches off center of, the bulls-eye. To say I was floored, would be an understatement. I mean, who knew??? Now Hubs is talking competitive shooting & the Olympics. It's a little early for that, but it's adorable how proud of her he is.

Anyway, I ramble on... I read all of your posts and am glad to hear most everyone is doing great! It's awesome that Trine and Jadey have both been back to post. I saw Raine popped in too, and I think just about everyone else has posted since last weekend as well. In fact, we're getting close to 200 pages again! Do you think we'll be christening a new thread before the WfE premiere next month? Hmmm... If every one keeps posting they way they have been, I think we might.

Sadly, I got interrupted while writing this by a little boy who had a bad dream. I laid down for a few minutes with him and now I'm too sleepy to finish replies to each of you.

Forgive me? It's been a busy day. Talk to you soon, Ginnie

Of course, it never fails that I go out of town just in time for the hugeness that was tonight. I still haven't seen the MTV piece, though I spent the evening driving across the countryside glued to my Blacberry as on of my besties frantically IMd me details so I could "listen in". And, the internet in the hotel is so slow that I might as well be on dial up. Alas, tomorrow I think I will be busting out the aircard. Leno was fantastic, though. Rob seemed a little self conscious but pretty comfy and that made me happy. Tink, from Robsessed, was in the audience, so make sure you head over there to check her report. The comedienne on after Rob quickly got on my nerves, and Rob didn't look to amused, either. But ever the gentelman, he just smiled on and left it be. I'm betting Alice Cooper was a treat for our boy. Alright, off to bed with me. Early game tomorrow. I'll check in tomorrow when I can post more thoroughly.

wow, i don't have much time but i wanted to come by and say i loved the mtv piece on rob! josh was awesome as always and rob was humorous, self-depreciating (but there was a compliment or two for himself--yay rob!), and he continued to de-glam the biz which i always think is funny. something about having a cold during his love scene with reese and sniffing snot and wiping it on reese's hair...gross!! hahaa, it was pretty funny. i loved the clip they showed and i can't wait to watch the movie! so much fun!!

now, my only problem is i missed leno, so spread the love girls, and post a link as soon as you know where to view it, pleeease!!

p.s. tracy, my friend borrowed my book this evening and will likely have it read by tomorrow! yay!!! i can't wait to hear what she thinks!

p.p.s. susie, i'm going to check my pm tomorrow!

Good morning ladies…

It’s weekend, Finally, and the sun is out…it’s expected to be good weather for the whole week!!!

Did any of you see Rob at Leno? I still have to watch the clips but he sure looked good.

Jaclyn, I don’t have a garden, which I think is a pity, I really wanted a garden but it’s too expensive to buy a house with a garden here. With this weather I wouldn’t mind weeding…
No I haven’t read the books, I’ve only ever ready fantasy books, I want books that take me to an other world…
That gif is killing me!!!!!!

JennJenn, those days it’s better to just turn around and get back into bed…

Tracy, yeah the Kings speech is a real British production, Timothy Spall and Gambon are regularly used actors in Brit movies…did you ever see Sweeny Todd by Burton? He had half the HP cast in it as well… talking about HP did you see the first clip of DH2, it’s up since yesterday I don’t know how long it will be up but it looks awesome.

Ginnie, it’s so weird to read about your hubby owning firearms… I know it’s a normal thing in the US but in Holland it’s illegal to own guns without an official approve from the government, I think you need to be trained for five years to be even allowed to own one…but maybe it would help people to feel a bit more safe…

Okay it’s time to enjoy the weather….
These violent delights, have violent endings...Like fire and gunpowder, they consume what they kiss
