Amazing band.
Yes! Opeth are awesome! I much prefer their older stuff, but it's all good.
I am also a big fan of Apocalyptica. Cellos are awesome.
And My Dying Bride, one of my favourite albums from them is 'A Line Of Deathless Kings.'
Acid Bath is one of my favourite bands too. They have a great diversity to their music.

Adic Bath is good. Dax Riggs has gorilla lips, but he's a great musician. =)

I never understood why so many ppl see opeth as ''the'' band. Ok, ive seen them lots of times live, and they are great...but many bands are great. Its not like they are the founders of metal or soemthing. I loved their damnation tour btw, that cd is totally relaxing.
does anyone know: samael, in extremo, equilibrium, borknagar, leaves eyes, after forever, saltatio mortis, orphanage, thyrfing, strapping young lad ?

Total garbage.
No offense..
Right, so last night I saw TERRORHORSE again!
It was amazing, I got to see Battlesoul too!
http://www.myspace.com/battlesoulmetal
They are different, but awesome still.
Their music is fun, ya know?
So on Wednesday I went to see Cradle of Filth, and I got to meet Dani.
It was awesome!
Last night I saw my two favorite Canadian bands, and I got to hang out with all my friends, have a few beers, smoke some bowls.
It was good fun.
Going to see Terrorhorse and Battlesoul again at the end of the month!

I can understand it if its not your taste, but you cant call it garbage.
Or at least we dont call bands that can really play and compose garbage just because we dont like them, maybe other ppl do. But in my eyes thats just being stubborn. Ppl who like music can differentiate between taste and recognizing good musicians. No offence intended.
Cradle of filth is so overrated though, there are thousands of bands who do what they do, and some do it better. Never understood why girls like that dani guy so much btw.
Anyway, even if its not your taste, ppl like devin townsend are just genious musicians, what he can do with his voice..damn.

I'm very good at recognizing good musicians.
I'm just brutally honest, and it takes a lot for a band to really impress me.
I think those bands are total garbage, Strapping Young Lad might be the only HALF decent band on that list.
Cradle of Filth is overrated now, because all the squealing fangirls are all over Dani like he's the new God or something.
Just like all the squeaky fangirls are all over Robert Pattinson.
It's pathetic really.
I started listening to Cradle when only a few people knew them - and they we're amazing!

Heavy metal is one genre of music I can't stand.
It's like a dream- no end and no beginning.
