SM posted on her site in the NM Q&A section that she doesnt know who's embry's real father is. in the book it never says.

BTW- In the books, Edward reads the minds of the wolf pack. (Eclipse; the part where the Cullens meet them in the field when Jasper is teaching them all about how to fight the newborns.) Edward learns that Embry's real father is between Jacob's, Sam's, or Quil's dad. So three possibilities! (It was because Leah kept thinking that...LOL)
