What I don't understand is how some people spend hundreds of dollars on a pair of shoes! Or a purse! That's crazy to me. There is so much you could do with that money.

pages....Hm...money. Books last longer, that's for sure.
I am guilty of spending $75 on a pair of Sperrys *ashamed* BUT, not only are they waterproof(great for the current weather here) but they're extrememely comfy(difficult to find in my size with my funky-shaped feet), they're durable, great to slip on and go, and my feet have pretty much stopped growing now, so I decided it was a good investment, since I used my Christmas money, and I barely got anything for Christmas. I love them, though.

Also, I haven't found a decent knock-off of them. Most of my money, however, goes to camp, presents for other people, and music. I'd spend more on books, but there's nowhere to get books around here, unless you want a cheap trashy romance novel.

It's really quite sad...

For quite a while, I just read and reread the library copy. Once it got huge, though, our WalMart started carrying it, and I bought a copy.

That's why my copy of Twilight and New Moon are paperback, but Eclipse and BD are hardback. They didn't carry hardback anymore by the time they carried them at all.

We used to have a really good selection of kids books and YA books, though. I'm not sure why they cut them back to less than a foot of shelf room...

I can't really wear nice shoes right now, as its snowing and there's slush EVERYWHERE.

The most I spent on shoes is $110 for my Sketcher Boots, but I've been wearing them pretty much everyday for a few months, so I don't feel guilty.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on for so long. I'm on vaca now in California, and in fact, I just went shopping today.

Banana Republic had a really great sale and I got a $150 dress for $40, plus a $25 skirt and another $40 dress. All on sale.

It's very satisfying to get such a great deal!
I can't bear spending so much money on one item. It's crazy... you could get so much more for the same price!

Jenni- yeah i always go on the Lex on my laptop but it stinks cause i can never see any of the banners and such because the pictures are blocked... it sucks but it serves its purpose.

I have to agree with you guys, i don't see how people can spend so much on things like purses or shoes! it drives me crazy people who have all of these crazy expensive things!

I finished Specials this morning, whoever recommended it. It was really good!
I have to wait to get Extras.

So instead my mom got me Peeps.
