Really? They are so common, but they do have a certain charm, I love their face shape.
I'm just an all around freak, I have a lot of random knowledge, and if I applied myself I could be really really smart, but I don't, and yet even though I don't try I have a 3.9 GPA, my friends hate that sooo much.

All wolves in Canada are members of the species Canis lupus. Four gray wolf subspecies are found in Canada: Canis lupus occidentalis (western Canada, as well as most of Alaska); Canis lupus nubilus (southeast Alaska and central and northeastern Canada); Canis lupus lycaon (southeastern Canada); and Canis lupus arctos (Arctic islands and Greenland), also known as Arctic wolves or white wolves.

I know thyre pretty common, but I've loved them since I was little. After reading Wesely The Owl I loved them even more!(if its even possible) Sab, your evil you stole my fact!!! Wolves and owls hold some deep meaning for me, I love them deeply, and they hold so much meaning for me.

Did I tell you people about my Tylon? He's tyto Alba, he found his way to the mafia house last night.

Did you know that I'm studying for a falconing license?

Canis Lupus Arctus, which lives in canada and alaska, is my favorite, equal to Tyto Alba

Okay, so uh, people, the new thread is up, as people have said.. soo....
GO POST THERE!
EXIT CANADIA!

Because of it's utter annoyance to surrounding states California, Washington, and Idaho, many, including Stephen Colbert, officially announced Oregon as California's Canada, Washington's Mexico, and Idaho's Portugal. Oregonians have responded by not caring about what other states think, while they quietly plot their secession.
(Hey, its techically about Cananda!)

*pokes head in door* Hey, I didn't realize there was a Canadian thread... although it mostly seems to have been hijacked by Americans, and all the furniture is dripping melted ice-cream and Pop-tart crumbs... *hehehe*

Manitoba. Yes, there are people that live in Canada who do NOT come from TorOttawa (and the surrounding urban sprawl) or the megacomplex of VancToria. :) I saw ONE other 'Toban earlier in the thread. *waves frantically*

Favorite season is autumn: I like the combination of the color and the reasonable temperatures. (Spring is messy, and wet, particularly in Manitoba where spring = salt stains and sandstorms.)

No I don't like hockey. (Now, lacrosse - the official Canadian national sport - is far more interesting. Perhaps it's the whole not enjoying systematic physical assault as a form of entertainment thing.)

I hear people on the feeling left out of things like book and promo tours. Even if anything ever comes to Canada, it goes to Vancouver or Toronto. Once in a blue moon it might get as far inland as Calgary, if the author is feeling particularly generous with their time. Anywhere between Calgary and Toronto? Pfiffle.

Ah well; enjoying myself on the Lex nevertheless, even if I feel like an onion in a petunia patch from time to time. *chuckling*

Oh yes; in Manitoba, tomorrow is Louis Riel Day (the government here finally caved in to the pressure of being one of the only provinces without a provincial holiday in February, but it falls on the same day as Family or Heritage day, depending on your province), and I'll be spending the day closeted with a dozen or so friends and my knitting, working on a book study together. (We're about fifty pages from the end of our book and we'd like to finish it so we can decide what's next... It's a non-fiction book study focused on discussions of spirituality and faith for the most part. We've been working on this book for nearly two years.)

Although we don't have history, gold medal winning teams
Heroes or prisoners, world famous volcanoes
Still what we've got's glorious

'Cause we've got
Rocks and trees, and trees and rocks..."
