Right?? lol, seriously, I have done my share since I got all obsessed in late November

Me and my best friend have started our own "Twilight Tuesday." Two weeks ago we went and saw the movie after work on Tue, then the next week it just happened to work out on the same day again. Now, I told her we have to continue this and go tomorrow too  We're lucky enough that the mall about 5 mins from my house still plays it every night, starting around 4:30
My thoughts exactly, TwilightSagaAddict!! What better way to keep this crazy system of ours going than to spend a few dollars to go to my happy place for a few hours. :)

TeamEdward1918, you truly are a lucky individual. The theater to which we will travel is only about 15 minutes from work, but a good 45 to an hour back home for me, depending on traffic. Alas, still sooooooooo overwhelmingly worth it! The most lovely thing though is that it is a theater with a liquor license. Thus, as I am well over legal age of consumption, I can kick back in a nice quiet theater with a glass of wine and the loveliness and joy that is this movie for me. Maybe there are some perks to being a grown up after all. 8-)
Since the movie seems to be playing mostly in discount theaters now, our obsession is saving us money!
really? i have the opposite problem.. twilight is only still playing on one movie theatre here, and it the big expensive one downtown.. so i opt to watch it online instead :P

ok, shhhhhh! Don't tell our kids, but we found a theater that is showing the movie at 10:40 this morning starting today! So while the kids are all at school, we are going to our "happy place" (again!)!

You're so lucky! Unfortunately, Twilight is only showing in the evenings here and I can't really sneak away anymore to see it without my husband and kids noticing. I don't think they fully realize the extent of my obsession, and I'd kind of like to keep it that way! LOL Although my 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son actually know almost as many of the lyrics to the soundtrack as I do, so maybe they are aware of my addiction.

My obsessed friend from work and I are planning to see Little Ashes when it comes out in March. That will have to be my next RPattz fix, along with the Twilight DVD release, of course.

Have fun!

Yes, it is going to be a difficult 5 weeks until the dvd release, that's for sure. I came across a clip from Little Ashes recently and, once again, Rob is amazing. I can't wait to see it. He looks very different though. That will take some getting used to.
I have to confess, I called my local Borders to check on if they are doing a dvd release party. I really want to go for the Border's special edition. It occurred to me, my favorite Border's is about 500 feet from my favorite local movie theater. I wonder if they woudl consider doing a special 1-night rescreen as like a part of the dvd release? That would be bloody awesome!!

It is going to be a difficult 5 weeks until the DVD release in March. I'm thinking of pre-ordering the Borders special edition of the DVD too. it seemed to have a couple of cooler special features that I would be interested in, like all the Borders cast interviews. I know I've already seen them online, but I'd like to have them at my disposal to watch on our 40" T.V. screen instead of our 17" computer monitor.

I'm also looking foward to seeing Little Ashes. You're right that it's going to take a little getting used to....Rob will look so very different...oh yeah, and there's the fact that his character is in love with a man. LOL

I just watched "The Bad Mother's Handbook" for the first time online yesterday and I loved it. Have you seen it? It was such a funny, heartfelt movie with several poignant moments. All of the acting was great but I especially loved Rob as Daniel Gale. He looked and acted nothing like Edward Cullen, but he was so sweet and earnest that you can't not fall in love with his character. I think all these other movies are really going to showcase Rob's versatility as so much more than a sexy vampire. I so hope he gets good reviews for "Little Ashes" and "How to Be".

So we went to see the 10:40 am show yesterday, and once again I like it better each time I see it. It still has its flaws and important parts left out, but maybe since I've read the book and "Dark High Noon" enough times, I'm able to pick up on some of the nuances. I think I can still justify at least one more viewing before the DVD comes out. After all, why else would the theater now be offering to show the movie 4 times a day if they didn't want us to see it over and over?  Plus, I still have a couple friends who - GAH!- haven't seen it yet!

I've seen it 2 times, and the first time it was really empty and quiet. Apart from me and my friends - oops.
The other time people gasped when Edward came on.

I think the movie was too short, but I wouldn't want it to have everything word-for-word from the book. That would be a bit too long and unimaginative. Movies are meant to be a bit different from the books, so while it should have good lines from the book in, it shouldn't have every single word or action copied.
