Re: Bella's Cottage
The way Bella's cottage was described seems very dainty and cute yet still realy sophisticated. I can't see anything really modern in it's design besides the closet and some of the technology
Re: Bella's Cottage
Oh the cottage sounds so cute,I couldn't see Bella and Edward living anywhere else..Gah,I love it.Their like a 'happy family' except fpr the whole bloodsucking vampires things still I love it,very Bella.

thanks for the link! hmm... the exterior maybe look like that, but not so bright. i still can't quite picture the cottage, inside and outside. and the huge closet confuses me even more. but somehow, i can picture the unmatching chairs and the fireplace. haha!cabingurl wrote:I picture it something kinda along the lines of this

Re: Bella's Cottage
This sounds like the most perfect little cottage in the history of cottages. i think it suits their little family sooo well - quite, dainty and cute - well loved.
And even more special because Esme gave it to them as a gift - she is so cute and it definitely reflects Esme's love for her children and how she wants the to have the best..
I want to live there (with Edward and the wardrobe..)

AH.........the cottage...*giggles* SO many good things happened in the cottage......I loved how stephenie described it! It was like out of a fairy tale. Then when I found out that Esme decoraited I was like YAY!!! I knew it had to be her or alice. But when bella came to the closet thats the part Alice to over....I loved it!!! AH!!! Still very giddy just thinking about it! I love the COTTAGE!!!

I loved the description of Bellas cottage. It seemed so... American.. Y'know; cosy, mismatched materials..
not that I think Americans are outfashioned.. haha.. *blush*

Here are a few links of what I believe Bella and Edwards cottage would have looked like.

Re: Bella's Cottage
aw i thought the cottage was so cute. it definitely suited both of them very well--bella would have been completely embarrassed if esme had given her a mansion or something. i imagine it to be really cozy but at the same time big enough for them to move around comfortably. kind of like the cottage in the movie the holiday, if anyone's ever seen that. except bella's cottage would be bigger. i can just picture the rose garden outside of bella and edward's room too. just rose bushes everywhere with a little pond and an old, wrought iron bench for them to sit on while bella shows edward some of her thoughts haha. sigh. very very fairy tale-esque.
