Yes there is a thread for the Mortal Instruments, but it has spoilers. I recommend to avoid it until you finish the books!

I just finished Witchlight in the Night World series and it was pretty good. Now I am going to read either Lucinda, Darkly the first book in the Demon Princess Chronicles by Sunny or The Vampire Bride the fourth book in the Atlantis series by Gena Showalter.

Because I've been reading Harry's New Home on fanfiction.net. It's a really well-written AU story.

FanMNM I do not know, I haven't read The Kite Runner. However a friend of mine teaches literature, I can ask her.

Oh, and the Vampire's Bride won, I am reading that currently.

ETA: Since there is already a fanfiction thread, let's keep this to ebooks and published novels on this thread? At least that would be my vote.
